He should delegate his OC duties so he can focus on getting the basics down. Otherwise he's going to drown.

It's like they completely ignored the dozens of times Shanalynch said "the winning won't come immediately, this is a long-term process" this off-season.

Damn, every head coach should just say that and make themselves completely immune to any criticism.

He'll be exhausted by week 17 explaining all these losses.

Haha.....this was the first game that actually looked like a "Chip" game. As far as shotgun on goal to go, have you not watched football for the last 15 years.
Play action and big sets to get down the field, then go shotgun at the goal line??? Chip's concepts werent from the dam 90's and Chip actually put points on the board
Amazing that ppl are still s**tting on Chip despite have no players of his own on Offense and despite winning more games than this sorry much better team will this season. Shanny is as overrated as can be.
And ppl talk down to McDaniels who started his career 6-0 almost a decade ago. McDaniels has learned so much since then that he would run circles around Shanny right now. It's a shame York insisted on having Paraag at his interview. I'm sure that was a large reason as to why he passed on this franchise.

His playcalling is part of the reason he was hired. Might as well fire him if you're gonna handicap him that way.
I had no issue with the offensive playcalling today, personally. Turnovers and defense is another matter, as of course is the talent level, but his offense put his players in position to make plays 90% of the time. Blown assignments suck, but that's what poor talent will get ya.

Your fault for not recognizing how true it was, though. Did you think this team had a ton of untapped talent? Or did you think they had the capital to bring in 20 new starters this year that would be pro bowlers? Just what were you expecting, exactly?

I'm hoping for 1-15 rather than 0-16. Otherwise none of this is that surprising to me. They need another 15 better starters. I expect to get 4-6 of those guys this off-season and have 4-6 wins next year.
BTW, I've been exhausted explaining this to this "fans forum for weeks already. Niners fan IQ is so bad thst Ripley expects us to colonize worlds filled with alien eggs everywhere.

I expected at least 1 goddamn win by now.
Sad to see Dwight Clark pour out emotions while the team gets destroyed on our own turf.
