What on gods green earth is kyles obsession with Kirk cousins?! His wife should be concerned. Hahaha
its kinda wild too because no only was that a ridiculous offer by the 49ers for Kirk cousins, but it was probably even dumber for WAS to not even consider it and settle for a third round pick. Lmao

Seems like Kyle thinks every trash ass QB is worth a bunch and the only ones that have done anything are a second rounder for Jimmy and last pick in the nfl draft. Lmao idk why everyone is smoking rocks

Kirk Cousins was a good excuse for Kyle's disastrous plan of rolling with Hoyer, Mullens and Beathard in his first year.

I get all of that, I just don't understand why he thinks he's a superstar. I've been pretty vocal about this but I really question whether Kyle or his dad are good at identifying top level qb talent.

His dad always won with John Elway (widely considered to be an all time great). Outside of that, his best qb play from hand selected guys was above average.

Nothing to do with drafting them. He has had a few drafts opportunities as hc here too that have produced great QBs that we could of snagged up.

im not super bothered by this because I really like Brock, but if we didn't luck out with Brock (which Kyle had nothing to do with the evaluation on him until way later when Griese/slowIk we're in love with Brock) - then We would be in a historically bad situation and a massive waste of a great roster. Lol

we seem to have finally found a guy but I don't trust Kyle with his qb evaluations in a draft.

We could have just as easily lucked into it that year. I am doubtful the team would have won it all with Stafford.

I also don't want a one and done team. Sustained competitiveness is more interesting to me.

One and done would need to be defined. Rams would never have to make it to another SB again to be considered done

He was offering too much for Kirk but Kirk would've given us a better shot at a title.

A few things about Kirk.

One, he's durable. More durable than any quarterback we've had on this roster since Shanahan took over.

Two, he's legit. Not Mahomes legit. Not Rodgers legit. But definitely a good quarterback, and an upgrade over Jimmy for sure.

Three, I used to laugh at the idea that if we had Cousins we would have at least one, if not two, Superbowls by now. I laughed even harder when Mike Florio blurted it out last year. But now I've reconsidered, and I whole heartedly agree. Like Jimmy, Cousins plays a very up and down type game. He can look awful good…like lights out good at times. But then he can instantly become instant bad…like really bad. The DIFFERENCE is that Kirk has a higher ceiling than Jimmy. He's got a better intermediate and deep ball, whereas Jimmy relies a lot more on the short passes with lots of YACs. That shows that Cousins has better vision. And if you take that "vision" and plug it into the 2019 SB or the 2021 NFCC GAME, Kirk doesn't crash in the fourth quarter like Jimmy did.

Fuxk Dan Snyder for being a petty little prick. He cost two franchises just out of animosity. At least we lucked out with Purdy….5 years later
