5/1 TD/int and 93 rating in playoffs. Certainly better numbers than some people have.

I know some content creators have complained about Kyle keeping CMC in too long with a big lead but at one point do you consider the game over?
To me it's only safe to start taking starters out when the other team is not going to get enough possessions to be able to come back. For example you are up 3 scores but you know the other team is only going to get the ball 2 more times and would need a onside kick to win the game. That's when you can pull starters. But some wanted Kyle to pull CMC for the entire 4trh quarter with a 3 score lead. That's too early because the Steelers offense were still going to get 3 or 4 possessions. We saw that vs the Lions a couple of years ago, We got a big lead, pulled starters and Kyle had to bring them back because the game got too close.

And Kyle referenced that very game when answering questions of why he left the starters in as long as he did vs the Steelers

Maybe he shouldn't have called three consecutive incompletions without which the Steelers probably wouldn't have scored at all. Then he could've pulled the starters.

Our defense gave up 21 points in under 7 minutes to lose a Superbowl. I think that's traumatized him (same in the Atlanta Superbowl). I get it. But it's certainly not too smart esp. with our depth. They need reps too.

This isn't futbol. You can always bring the starters back in if needed.
