49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

He is going to have to pay more coaches $$$$$$ after they get fired before their contracts expire. I don't see this team improving or winning for a long time. Making dumb decision on high draft picks will hurt us a long time. We pretty much threw a #3 pick to the garbage.

Cool fictional story, bro.

The 2011 Broncos, who won a playoff game with Tebow, were coached by John Fox and coordinated by Mike McCoy.
I thought it was him...never mind...8-8 09, 3-9 in 2010 before getting fired because of a spygate type controversy...interesting. Well hell that John Fox is an amazing HC then.

There was no scheming with Tebow. He did it his own way, and that is the reason why he is out of the league now.

So question to the 'Fire Shanahan crowed' if the team did what you wanted who would you like to be our coach? Oh wait nobody in their right mind would touch this franchise ever again after going with 4 coaches in 4 years

McDaniels and Riddick were ready to turn this team into the Patriots West, probably would have brought Jimmy G with them as well but York the idiot put Paraag in the same room as McDaniels during the interview. McDaniels didn't feel right after that. I don't blame him. Every day he sees how a real franchise should be run and getting in a room with York, Paraag and whoever scared him away.

If we hired McDanials nothing would be different, fans would be bashing him and calling him a retread franchise killer who owes the only success he's ever had to Belichick. And what makes you think we would've got Garoppolo? Patriots had no interest trading him last offseason, you think that changes because their OC decited to leave them?

Ohh please McDaniels wouldn't be winless. You keep forgetting the roster got as close to a complete overhaul based on Shanny and Lynch's formula. I trust McDaniels 10x more than Shanny and Lynch. There's a reason why he's being groomed to take over for arguably the greatest coach and franchise of all time. LOL. Meanwhile, Shanny got a job because his dad was his dad.

Kyle needs to run the ball a lot more with Hyde and have CJ work off that, Play actions, Roll outs, quick screens are what he needs to be calling more and more, obviously the line can't protect a 5 or 3 step drop pass play for the WRs to finish their routes..
it's not like anybody should be surprised by this because bad decision making is the norm for this franchise under the york's.... #trusttheprocess
We really need the #1 pick and a serious investment in the o-line. Shanahan doesn't have much to work with here.
After that showing it is only natural that the fans turn on each other and the team (for want of a better word) leadership.

I have tried to be patient with the rebuild and the early stages of what that brings but I am sorry this cannot be real.

I am a million miles away from knowing how the coach should be NFL but this is just crap.

How do you rebuild when your players are getting beat up. There wont be anything left to rebuild with.

There were a few rookies I was excited to see. Now we know why other teams passed on them.

Can't believe I would be happier to see Tomsula coaching!

It's like the past 6 losses sucked the life out of the whole organization.

The team should be wrapped up with the label reading "unless you're Bill Walsh don't try this at home".
He might have to work on himself too!

I understand and agree but regardless he has to play to this teams strengths and call plays where these turnovers can't happen..if the only thing working is running the ball then pound the rock, then play action or roll outs, this offensive line cannot sit in their stance and block forming a pocket to pass from, they seem better when the pocket is moved

I would've been happy with McDaniels,Shanahan, or McVay, I'm talking about the ppl who are currently anti-Shanahan,and yes I'm sure it has nothing to do with the successful OC gigs he's had. Why is it so hard for people to understand that this is pretty much 2005 2.0? No I wasn't expecting to be winless but a lot of these losses have been due to Hoyer, drop passes, and questionable at best penalties. Shanahan has kept these teams in games where they should get ran off talentwise, he's a rookie HC who's best days are yet to come, however today was a rough one for him
