Nope. We may have moved on from Moral Victoritis, but the Polyanna narrative says he's Walsh 2.0. Walsh had a crap first season, and Shanahan is having a crap first season. Ergo, Shanahan is Walsh 2.0, and we are about to win the SB in 2019, possibly with a comeback for the ages against the Cowboys in the NFCG.

Woo-hoo! Championship! We rule.
who is mostly to blame here? I feel like lack of talent + Saleh's scheme. but we dont have the talent we need in his scheme yet to run it the way it's supposed to. man, i think just out-talented all around.

Harold is invisible. Armstrong is inconsistent. Foster has been injury prone early on. Armstead and Carradine are out now, joining Blair on the injury list. Reid should be starting over Tartt at SS and yesterday we saw why. Robinson can't keep his hands off receivers to save his life, while Dontae Johnson is the polar opposite seemingly always there but never making much of an effort to disrupt passes. Ahkello is raw AF and was completely overmatched going against a guy like Dez. We were literally overmatched one on one in every position group across the board, and you see the results there.

We need players at pretty much every position on defense.

I understand and agree but regardless he has to play to this teams strengths and call plays where these turnovers can't happen..if the only thing working is running the ball then pound the rock, then play action or roll outs, this offensive line cannot sit in their stance and block forming a pocket to pass from, they seem better when the pocket is moved

And you nailed it on the head.
The "offensive genius" as so many put it, calls a couple roll outs for CJ with positive yards, but then calls multiple drop backs.

People said our talent sucked when harbaugh showed up. Then all of a sudden we had a "Super bowl rooster" or look at the rams pathetic seasons till now.. they put wade on defense and they are winning games. It's not a coincidence.

It's coaching and putting the players in the right position..
Or DC sucks ass, period. Kyle calls a few good plays then s**ts the bed.

Sad really.

Meanwhile Harbaugh just lost another big game and can't recruit a legit QB, at Michigan, if his life depended on it.

better players more suitable for Saleh's scheme. forget armstead at this point. drafted for a different system, different GM, different everything

Seasons done, watch development and pray youre entertained in the process or tune in and focus on draft prospects/NCAA lol.

Just can't afford too many games like today or else all the players lose confidence in Shanahan

I think the players can see what's going on. They know they're just not good right now and can see that there's not much Shanahan can do right now, with the personnel he's been given.

If we have a few more games like today's game it will be difficult for Shanahan to convince the players that he is the right guy to lead this team.

We just came off of 5 consecutive games with a chance to win late and lost by an overall 13 pts?...

Thats why im not gonna over react.

I dont think we will... Lets see what happens vs Philly. If we can ATLEAST be right there by the start of the 2nd half; Crack a beer open and grab some popcorn lol.

Not holding my breath on that. Wentz will most likely have a career game against our lack of pass rush and awful secondary

See my comment above. We havent got blown out in back to back games yet.

Please don't say that...you may have just jinxed us. And i'm down to intonations, incantations, and yes, possible jinxes.
Shanny should tell Lynch to call up the Steelers and trade for M. Bryant. Dude wants out

lynch has no clue what he is doing either. he knew the defense and secondary were crap in the pre season. what was his solution, cut brooks. elevate eli and sign asa
I wonder, i truly wonder, what kyle is actually thinking right now. For sure he is re-examining "why did i ever agree to take this job?' And I wonder just what he is doing with regard to self searching. As in what could he ahve done differently? For sure he must be wondering about his evaluation of talent...beacuse he and Lynch came up wiht Solly and Reuben and one has had trouble staying or geting on the field. Au Jus....fine...but injured. Garcon, fine. #11? Ummm, maybe ok, depending. TT? Joe williams? Barnes, fusco, keeping kilgore, zut, gilliam, a whole host of LBs adn DLs, CBs, Ss....keeping them or bringing in new ones...didn't really work out too well. We went from 4 starters to about 6 wiht some ohters inconclusive. On talent picking, i would say they had "grave difficulties". Maybe they aren't as smart as i thought.

Coaching? Lordy i hope he is re-examining this one. The D he wants (with no talent to man it) is a FAIL and getting worse. The O he wants, ZBS is a massive FAIL and is now the worst O we have seen in these parts since...well, ever. And worse yet, he seems to want to stay the course, the worst possible decision right now. I say junk the D he wants and face reality. It won't work with the litttle talent we have. On O....same thing. Fusco and kilgore...i would just fire them. Gone. They can do no right. Just not good enough to play NFL. We stiil got guys on the roster and PS who are OLs.Bring them all in to audition for RG and C. But get rid of the two gents currently occupying those slots. Change your O. And D coach. Trash 'em. Both. Now. STaRt over thotfully and see what you can do better. Because that what you brot is krapt. Pure krapt.
