From that point on we went on to go undefeated all the way to the NFC Champ game. I hope Kyle can do the same here with the extra week but this time we go all the way to the Super Bowl and win.

IMO, Kyle is now facing the biggest challenge of his career here in SF. Unlike other years where an enigmatic QB was an issue, or injuries short-circuited the team, there is now a large elephant in the room that cannot be ignored. How Kyle deals with the Wilks situation will define him as an organizational leader and will go a long way to determine the way the season will end up.

I agree with this and to add on to it, this year we actually have so much talent on our roster without *Knocks on wood* any big big injuries. There is really no excuse for this team to be a wild card team if he doesn't fix this ship during this bye week.

Totally agree.

I know it may not be in Kyles offense but why can't he install hot routes or quick passes like other teams have been supposedly doing against the 49ers defense? I mean if the pressure on Brock has been a problem get rid of the ball quicker. Other teams do it to our defense to negate the pass rush.

He does. Brock just isn't throwing to them. Trying to make the bigger play.

On the 2nd pick McCaffrey is open for a quick gain and he passed because he thought he had Aiyuk.

It's both actually. In many cases there is none or it's on the non play side (making it tough to go through progressions and get over to the other side timely). Other times it is there and it's covered up and/or Brock doesn't go there.

I agree with JT and KW that some simple tweaks could really help make it more QB-friendly and safer.

Most QB friendly offense in the league.

Only if on script. Otherwise, QB's get killed.
Josh Johnson disagrees

QB friendly offense needs a good run blocking and good pass blocking OL. Team has neither.
We have most quarterback unfriendly offense in the league. All of our quarterbacks got hurt last year. Our current quarterback has already had a concussion this season.

LOL I get what you're saying but I think the main problem is they tried to go the cheap route for the O-line. Besides Trent Williams who you'd obviously pay, they threw cheap contracts at every position. And please don't bring up the Jake Brendel contract because that's cheap AF, Jason Kelce is getting $14 mil for this season.

It's the most friendliest for opposing DL.

It is unreal how completely BLATANT the team is about investing in the D line vs O line.

The Wilson Carroll approach. The difference is Marshawn would still slam it up the middle and wear guys down to keep them slightly honest even if they never could block for Wilson

HE wont add those simple passes because he runs a Gimmick Offense... it's a pre-determined read and that's why QBs are always having QUICK success when they run this offense, then suddenly, they drop.. Just look at the history of his QBs over the years..

Notice how our QBs are often getting rid of the ball after ONE single read.. if the target is not there, the QBs get into trouble.. they are not asked to read the defenses..

One of the LAMEST play he has is when he puts the FB in motion.. is this suppose to scare anyone out there? he spreads the FB out wide, and then what? how does the FB become a threat?

That's just the PHI push play, he put the FB wide, motioned him under center, he wants Juice running that not Brock, after BP got his bell rung.

NAH brah... I wasn't pertaining to the FB Dive play under center.. I was pertaining to the games where he sent 44 on a motion out wide and had line up as a WR..

was that supposed to scare anyone?
