It's a legitimate question.
Kyle could have used Mason in several different situations this season that would have been better options but he didn't.
There's obviously an issue there, it needs to get fixed because it's only hurting the team.
Legit question but asking if it's a trust issue certainly triggered Kyle and rightfully so.
It's a stupid way to ask a question. If you want to know his thoughts, you don't set up a question telling him how he should think. Especially when the question entails putting his players in negatives.
Even I think Kyle might not trust Mason with pass pro recognition like a vet in Mitchell, but that leading question gonna get that door slammed lol

Actually it is because so many fans have wondered why he's burning clock and/or calling conservative play calls when we have time to get into at least FG position before half so this speaks to that overall strategy.

Yeah, usually Kyle will start a drive that only has like 90 seconds before half by being a little conservative and see if they'll get a first down. If they get the first down, they try to score, If not - he tries to run the time out.
not a terrible strategy, I wasn't aware of the statistic, but I would always be confused by the initial play calling on those drives. Makes sense now.
