It entertains me that ppl here think Kyle was gonna show anything against a possible playoff opponent in a meaningless game, we are the 1 seed, no reason to play this game like it was a game with playoff implications on the line, it was basically a preseason game, starters played like 2-3 drives.

Kyle said before the game that it would be vanilla on both sides of the ball/. I personally wish he would of been a little more aggressive with the vanilla plays but it is what it is. He was clearly trying to just end the game as soon as possible.

we dominated them when our starters where in.

exactly. I remember the first series, I saw TW go down at the goal line I was like WHY BABY JESUS is he in there. He was fine thank god, but you notice next series he was done lol

The coaching staff treated it as a glorified preseason game which is exactly what it was. If you're going to be resting so many of your regular starters than the goal is to get out of it with the least number of injuries possible.

I'm pretty sure it was more about the personnel than not showing anything. McVay and Kyle have faced each other enough that nothing either will do will be a surprise. The actual plays called and the sequence will be part of the game plan but each guy knows the other's style. I doubt they're going to unleash a bunch of plays they've never run before.

I noticed that too... in fact we drove right down and scored as usual with Mitchell doing his CMC imitation. The only scary thing was as everyone else pointed out, Moody getting the Yips. That could cost us however I don't really have any fears in the NFC other than the Cowboys and they did not look good yesterday.
