If Wilks takes a HC gig, would you be interested in BB as DC? I know its probably not realistic. But could you imagine a KS & BB combo?

His defenses have remained good. Not even close to our talent level (which is his real problem - talent acquisition).

It's silly anyway. No chance he's going to be a DC.

Only way I see it happening is if he decides he still wants to coach, but not deal with all the ba anymore and just decides to be a dc for a bit then dip out.

But wow that would be an unstoppable combo. As horrid as the pats offense have been, their defense is always good.

Blessed to have Kyle Shanahan as our head coach. I hope to never see another person as the 49ers' head coach for aslong as I'm alive. The dude is literally a young Bill Belichick with his ability to coach every single aspect of football.

It's kinda true....

Giants without BB wouldn't have been able to topple the 49ers in '90 and possibly '85/'86 as well....he was that critical piece, because for as great as LT and those defensive players were, it was the BB scheme and coaching that made them a tougher defense for us than anything post Buddy Ryan '85 Bears (which we smashed in '88).

And they don't beat the Bills in that super bowl without his game plan (which I took a photo of at the Pro Football Hall of Fame).
