Unlikely but I think it's more likely than people realize.

Man, having Belichick at DC would be insane.

We would embarrass Mahomes, Lamar, etc....more than merely compete with/slow them down.

Kyle and belichick have a mutual respect and I think Kyle would give whoever his DC is complete control. It would be wild and having those two team up would be insane.

none of us know what BB wants at this age, but I could see him wanting to just coach and not have all the pressure/media/time that goes into running an organization. Just help out and coach his speciality. Be an AHC and provide feedback on prospects.

That combo would be insane and there isn't another coach who could provide Kyle with the type of wisdom and insight that BB could.

I dunno, Kyle's dad has a lot of experience and wisdom - specially on the all important QB position. But yeah, I get the fact that Kyle and Bill would be a loaded from the football IQ standpoint. I just don't know if they will get along personally and from an ego standpoint. If anything, Belichick - as an old offensive lineman - should help Kyle on the Offensive Line issues.

lol no way on earth
he's gonna be given full org control and a fat contract
I agree, if he's given another chance, that's what he would want. But I don't know if the new organization would agree to that considering he was HC/GM for the Pats for the last 3+ years and hasn't really done wall without Tom.

Kyle and bill are both grinders with extreme discipline. They're much more similar than people realize. I think that relationship would work just based off of respect.

bill isn't an egomaniac, he understands the "do your job". If he's the DC, he will do that the job the best he can. Just like he would be the best AHC he could.

once again, I realize this is dreaming but I think there's a small chance it happens. Have to see what happens with wilks.

I think the only way BB goes to another team is if he has a franchise qb. He doesn't want a Cleveland situation again or the last handful of years with pats, he will want to win now.

i just get this feeling that he wants to ease into retirement and enjoy these last years. I'm hoping the results in him doing something with the niners.

BB has gone to KS for advice and BB also tried to implement Kyle's scheme. BB loves him some KS

If he wins this year, safe to say Kyle is the best coach in the league?

Based on what criteria? Mcvay and Kyle have coached the same amount of time mcvays record in the regular season is better than kyles and he has a SB win already...

There are multiple SB winning coaches that give their team a shot at a SB every year ie Reid, harbaugh.

Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season is 15 seasons...

Kyle is a good coach. Is he the best? I guess if you cherry pick some obscure statistic maybe you could make that argument. If we are talking wins/loses over his tenure or SB wins... It's hard to say that based on past performance...

If we're speculating here... Sure he could win 10 SB with purdy.... Remember though there's no guarantee we will even be alive on Sunday...

he's basically already there. Imagine if all coaches were suddenly FAs so to speak. who's getting the most attention or fattest deal? Reid and BB have more resume, but owners want some HC more in their prime with more years out in front. I would say McVay and Kyle would be at the top. Gordon Bombay. Little bit of a trinity going on also with LaFleur. Don't sleep on how he did this year with a young team, and a young QB who looks like he's on the way. So if Love is a real guy, with all those young WRs, LaFleur is also up there. Granted he doesn't have the ring. So he's down a notch.

Not for people who cant admit the greatness of Kyle or Lamar and want to continue to dig into nonsense.

I think this is a big reason Kyle has earned the respect of his players. Even when things were bad that first year as they started off 0-9, he never lost the room. He is the smartest guy in the room.

Beyond my scope to verify the numbers but interesting stuff. That Shanahan boy good.

Brock is the real MVP for why the 49ers appear where they do on the offense chart.

It wouldn't be fair to the rest of the league for sure.
