Not worth it. He would be here max one year before he gets head coaching gig. What's the point of implementing his playbook into our defensive schemes then having to find someone like Matt Patricia for continuity when he leaves?

I'd rather get rid of Wilks then promote someone from the ranks that will carry the same plays that Saleh or Demeco did…

Hire Bill, let him coach the year. When he moves on we can pick up Saleh after the Jest go belly up.

lol, there's zero chance BB is going to be our DC

If no one hires bill this off season, I don't see anyone doing it next year when he's older. Lol I imagine his age is one of the biggest issues because he is a short term fix for any team.

I'll believe he is going to end up on our staff (front office or coaching staff) until it doesn't happen.

I don't believe it is his age that is holding people back.

I think it is the grandiose level of control that he wants.

Yea, demands + demeanor = not someone you're chasing. His reputation has a lot to do with Brady, and that franchise fell off a cliff after Brady left. I don't think Belichick will get a job just on interviews alone, he needs to vow the owner and be flexible with how much control he wants…
Agree. The same thing with JIm Harbaugh. He still hasn't signed with the Chargers. I feel the hangup is more about control than money. Jim and Bill *shouldn't* have total control over player personnel. The struggle between Coach and GM is that the Coach has a short term time table and the GM has a much longer one. It takes two strong but accommodating personalities to balance that out in a good way. The personal dynamic's between John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan have been good. That's a rarity in the NFL today.

Total control is what Harbaugh wants. Gonna have a puppet GM no matter where he goes.

.. and why would not any good HC want that control?

like Parcells said, " they want me to cook dinner, they should let me do the grocery "

Okay John Cleese.
Yeah, s**tty in- game adjustment once Deebo got hurt again. Plan B should be to start targeting Kittle who can't be be covered, Ayik down the field on play action specially and keep running the ball with CMC and swinging him the ball in the open field. Kyle needs to instill this into Purdy's brain. Let's go fellas it's right there for the taking. Dry ball this week vs Detroit!

Most likely Kyle will open up with pass to open up the run.

Please Kyle I want to feel this type of way again...

I knew Kyle has guided the team to a conference championship every year they reached the playoffs, but didn't know that if he does it one more time he ties Siefert for the league record.
