So the Pats FO wanted to move to a Shanahan style offense while Belichick was probably going to hire Matt Patricia or Josh McDaniels again.

Belichick wanted to run a Shanahan style offense last year but hired Patricia to run it. Now that Brady is gone, everyone but the Lions and Giants seem to be dumping the Erhardt-Perkins offense.

The nice thing about making the NFCCG, it'd hard to interview Kyle's coaches and hence hard to poach his coaches from the team till after February.

I find it interesting Peter's wants the lions guy. You'd think he be enamored with Kyles scheme after 7 years? I think he's somewhat smart. The entire league is being built to stop Kyle's offense so imo naturally a new scheme will come etc.
