49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

The dynamics of that Atlanta team and these lions is different. Detroit is clearly a team that funnels everything through the HC. That Atlanta team had given Kyle control of the offense exclusively, and perhaps even more so after they set the league on fire on offense and Dan Quinn clearly was running the D. Kyle clearly looked flustered in his play calling against NE who had figured out his scheme by that second half. I mean they were literally in FG position to win the game and instead of running the ball and inching closer to that FG and running out the clock he called passing plays that stopped the clock and forced his team into a punt that gave Brady that opportunity to win the game.

But if they would have ran the ball every play like you said wouldn't one of the greatest defensive minded coaches of all time (Bill Belicheck) stack the box and stop the run resulting in the same punt that gave Brady the opportunity to win the game?

Some of you just love to put everything on Kyle.

please show me where Dan Quinn has zero say in the offense or couldn't over rule Kyle on anything??

OH so Dan Quinn was running the defense huh? That defense who blew the biggest lead in SB history? That one? The one that gave up over 500 yards of offense lol. Not a peep about that.

lions could have continued to run the ball over all over SF. We ALL watched the game yesterday. Instead they ran the ball 7 times in the second half.

They had a chance to go up 3 score with a makable FG. They had another chance to kick another makable FG to tie the game. Instead they f**ked it up.

Dan Campbell s**t as s**t isn't the play caller on either end….YET he's getting ALL the blame…hmmm wonder why? Because he's the f**king HC. Same s**t with Pete Carrol blowing the SB. He doesn't call plays either way BUT no one blamed their OC for throwing the ball at the 3 yard line.

There isn't an objective debate to be made. Yet here you are lol

Anti Kyle people will always be anti Kyle.

Making up s**t like they were in the meetings lol. Trolling at this point 🤡
Team can't afford to come out of the gate slow in this one. Chiefs are too good to collapse.

Kyle needs to come up with a great game plan on offense. And, maybe be involved with the defensive game plan.

Baltimore would have been a better matchup since we played them. And, Lamar isn't Mahomes.

BUT I thought they were snapping it with 10-15 seconds to go? Now they were too slow?

If you want play calls that were way too slow just watch SB 47 pathetic offensive coaching.

lol so now they were going to slow? Thought you said they were going too fast?

must be hard keeping everything straight when making up all this s**t haha.

Dan's defense (using your words) blew a 28-3 lead, gave up over 500 yards of offense and couldn't even give them a chance in OT.

pretending a head coach doesn't have final say on how a offense is being run in-game is laughable.

the fact that you can't even apply this to the DET game. Shows how hypocritical and bias you are lol.

We'll need an offensive performance like the one we witnessed against the Eagles earlier In the season If the defense doesn't get It figured out soon.

Yeah, why isn't Ben Johnson coming under fire?

I mean he shouldn't, but Kyle got ALL THE f**kING HEAT (and still does).
Remember when people were saying we should Fire Kyle and hire Belichick. I remember.
