I mean... We had 4 minutes and 3 timeouts against Green Bay and were moving the ball well. We settled for what? A 42 yard FG in the rain with a kicker that every... single...one...of...us knows is very questionable. The guy has a single 5 point comeback in the 4th quarter in his entire HC career. One. He's continually missed the mark in the biggest moments. Again, I think we've gotten some lucky bounces that without happening we would be in off-season right now. With that said, lucky bounces happen to most Super Bowl teams. Ie Stafford and Tartt.
I wouldn't trade him for a single other coach. I even said he is a offensive genius but he has a very clear history of doing questionable things in the big time. Just like Harbaugh... Thing is, Harbaugh beat his demons and Shanny thus far has this team on track to beat his. I will gladly eat crow to get #6. I pray to have to eat crow.
With that said, being negative at a time like this is stupid and I'll stop and apologize. I'm usually the optimist and have everyone's back but I said what I said in frustration and I stick by it until proven wrong.

So by your logic if we aren't blowing every single team out then Kyle is a failure. Yeah you don't know what's you're talking about.

I never said that. I said we played down to a mediocre team. A team that was tied with middle of the pack 9-7 teams in the 6-9(there were four 9-7 teams)range of a 16 team conference. We did not play well against Green Bay. Some say otherwise but I strongly disagree. If we played up to our potential we should've beat both Detroit and Green Bay without the need for lucky bounces. We haven't played to our potential.

When did Jim win a SuperBowl?

Thank you team for not waiting until January to break my heart this time! Really appreciate it. At least I can get my November and December back to myself now.
27 years old. Hope this team can win another Super Bowl before I die but I won't count on it. It's impossible for everything to go right for this team throughout a season in my lifetime, unfortunately.

This "overworldly" (and healthy) defense just got absolutely destroyed and cream pied in hilarious fashion by Cousins WITHOUT JEFFERSON, and our quarterback basically proved he can't win a championship in the last 4 minutes. Twice. All to the losing record Vikings.
I'm done. I've seen this movie before. I don't need to watch anymore. Actual contenders don't drop two completely nasty farts in a row like we just did.
Bengals will probably win, Seahawks will probably sweep, and the Eagles will win before that game even starts. We're a one-and-done playoff exit team at best.

Quitters quit. But do you know who didn't quit? This team. They rallied and kept scratching and clawing and now we are headed back to another Super Bowl.
One. More. To. Go.

Two things:
1. Packers were 9-8 this year, not 9-7.
2. Patriots were 12-point favorites in SB XLII. There was a reason they were so favored, but that's why they play the game.

I was talking about CFB. Thing is... I went into the Wilks thread and noticed you talking down to him. Did our defense not hold Detroit to 7 points in the second half? Why is it ok to be critical of him but so sacrilege to hold the HC to the same standards?
