I swear, we better run the CRAP out of the ball. McCaffrey is the key to beating the KC defense.

Agree. Gotta go all out with the run but also keep CMC fresh, we need a good dose of Mitchell as well.

I doubt Kyle will trust Mason, and I probably wouldn't either.

Yet he's trusting a RB who averages 2.3 yards a carry this season… doesn't make sense to me.

That's exactly what I was gonna say. Also, he's much better in pass protection.

Mason has zero fumbles in the regular season as well with more than double the YPC.
Also, Mitchell gave up a sack on his last pass blocking attempt.
Maybe Mason is fumbling in practice a lot, I don't know, but if that's not happening I still don't get it.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the YPC either way. Mitchell had 75 carries spread out over the course of the season… rarely had stretches with lots of them at one time (probably only three games).

Ohhh crap, I guess we better not give him the ball in this game because the Jinx is on.

Yeah but it's clear Mason is the better runner, you don't need to look at stats to see that. People can dismiss that by saying Kyle doesn't trust his blocking or whatever but the tape doesn't lie.

I personally agree. He's certainly looked better. I think Mitchell can be good though too, and he does have more pelts so to speak.
