In the past 5 years we lost 2 Super Bowls and 2 Conference Finals. We're definitely in Andy Reid the Philly version territory.
But this is well built team that still years to contend.

Blah blah blah proud of how our team played. Blah blah blah next season though.
and you aren't?
The defense, yeah. The ST and Offense not so much. OL had stupid penalties and gave us preassure, cmc fumbled, purdy threw some ducks, deebo drops.
Yuk was solid. Kittle was a ghost.

Reid when the game matters: I'm going to leave it up to my best player
shanny when the game matters: check out this awesome scheme… I don't need my best player"
third quarter shanny f**ked us. I'm fairly certain we can find multiple plays in the fourth and overtime where his b******t playcalling f**ked us as well. How many times did Brock have to deal with a free rusher? how many times did mahomes?
we got out-coached. At first look it appears as if we were the much better team too.
glad we got to the SB. Happy to have Kyle as our coach. I have no confidence we'll ever win one. This one was worse than the last

Do those drives count for more than when CMC fumbled it? Or when Trent Williams killed a drive with penalties?
What's interesting is that that was a clear hold by Trent and should've been called, but I saw worse with KC and it's never called. We will get no breaks.

agreed about the offense but pretty much only the dumb penalties. it was quiet as hell on offense too. no excuses
Brock did a hell of a job, honestly. the moment wasn't too big for him. good to see.
Kyle's 1st impression in the presser was that there was a busted block up the middle on 3rd down in OT. with Chris Jones. Jennings had his defender beat, too.
Kyle said he was proud today because there was no second-guessing, and everything they game-planned as a coaching staff was what they did. "just didnt get it done"

The rest of the NFC is coming. We are going to need a great draft to stay ahead, as well as picks from 2022 - 2023 stepping up.

What you dont like losing when your team has superior talent pretty much everywhere? That's a shanahan speciality...
You best just move on until he goes because you should be prepared at this point for him to keep shoveling disappointment into your mouth and choking in the playoffs...

Not with Mahomes in his division/conference.
Harbs is the perfect Coach to give Andy and the Chiefs fits.
They will pound the ball..keep Pat off the field..and get him impatient.....and Harbs will get Herbert to protect the ball and hit big plays when needed.

So aggravating as I just screamed at Kyle the entire game to keep running CMC. Very unhappy with Kyle tonight

Kyle is the reason we're in it every year and I really feel fortunate to have him. BUTTTTT.....What the f**king hell, Kyle! If I'm Jed, I'm meeting with Kyle and demanding an answer as to why Kittle isn't schemed the ball more. And why we abandon the run all the time.....NOT EVEN A DISGUISE OF IT!!! How many plays did McCaffery just go line up wide with an empty backfield? Spags and the Chiefs defense THANKS you Kyle for making their playcalling easier, dick face! And in the biggest drive of the game you run CMC over the right side when the toss left has been effective all night running behind Trent???? WTF!
And ALL THOSE DRIVES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME WHERE WE BASICALLY 3 AND OUT'D?? Kyle, did you even make a single adjustment?

Time to go, bloom is off this rose. Wilks had the better game plan today by a mile. Prolly was hoping for some offensive help

Yup, especially after they sign Barkely or Henry

I'd rather keep going with guy who's young, hungry and has shown he's willing to adjust his strategies as the league changes. You knock at the door over and over and the ball will likely bounce your way eventually. Reid is proof of this. Shanahan went up against Mahomes twice and lost. This time as narrowly as possible. Mahomes will be considered the greatest QB of all time when he retires.
The grass is usually far less green on the other side.
