At best we will be worse next year and then have to pay purdy after.

The team has not drafted well at all in 22-23 so expect a regression....

See you in 10 years when the next regime takes over.

Thanks for squandering purdys best team ever to completely choke from the coaching side...

Darn you're leaving for 10 years? Ok see ya

Dudes not wrong. We had better players on each side of the ball. And lost. I'm enjoying have "successful" seasons with shanahan, and I acknowledge that we'll probably not find a better coach. At the same time, the reality is a SB isn't coming to this organization with him at the helm. History says we won't make it back, his personal history says we wouldn't win it if we did.

If all that is true, it makes sense to move on.

im not advocating that. Just the common sense solution

lol common sense?

Its like Kyle was trying to keep Kansas City in the game in the third quarter with some absurd play calling.

This is not a big game coach. He will NEVER win a Super Bowl. Throw at #22 all game long. Forget you have CMC in the backfield. Let that clown DC blitz at the wrong times. Great going Shanahan. I can see why we always LOSE with this.

f**king get out of here. They won in OT after our all pro rb fumbled points away and a ball bounced off the back of a players leg on a punt. We had opportunities but that was one play in either direction and either team could have won.

Their coach is 3-0 in the SB. Ours 0-3 if you count Atlanta's SB when he was the OC. The dude is a choker. Accept it

why does reid get 17 years to win won but Kyle only gets 7?

makes no sense.

Gotta be a new fan. Last I checked, Reid was 3-1, with lots of NFCCG losses, Wildcard round exits, etc.

I'd rather keep going with guy who's young, hungry and has shown he's willing to adjust his strategies as the league changes. You knock at the door over and over and the ball will likely bounce your way eventually. Reid is proof of this. Shanahan went up against Mahomes twice and lost. This time as narrowly as possible. Mahomes will be considered the greatest QB of all time when he retires.

The grass is usually far less green on the other side.
If Mahomes was actually difference maker in either of those games you'd have a point but he wasn't.

Mahomes and Jones won those games, IMO. Made the key plays.

It's flat out stupid.

It is actually right though

We should have deferred the OT kick off

Defense was gassed. I'm sure that's why we wanted the ball.

Thats a garbage excuse imo.

Reid is 3-2 in the SB as a HC of Eagles and Chiefs. 5-5 in conference championships. He also was 1-1 as a Packers assistant offensive coach.

What matters is what happens in crunch time. All those plays happened with plenty of time left on the clock. When it mattered most, our coach shat the bed with his 3rd and 4 play calling

None of that matters. He choked, he has a history with choking on the big games. I know it hurts, but look at his history.

We are bills of the 90s

Yes that's true.

It makes a lot of sense. Since he shat the bed in all 3. That said, we're giving him chances. He just doesn't seem to learn. Even after the divisional game and conference championship game where he abandons the run and we get lucky

Sorry if I was wrong about Reid's SB wins and losses. Still better than Coach Choker KS

I've seen the "let's fire the 2nd place coach" work absolutely never in professional sports. You always end up with someone worse, and that "2nd place coach who can't win" goes onto win somewhere else. Andy Reid is one example.
History will see Kyle as a choker.

Nothing more

History is brutal.

At this point I've been too invested and the losses are too crushing...

I'm over shanahan.

Brock would be in the next Brady conversation if he had a different coach. Instead now we get to live with mahomes for the next 15 years mostly due to shanahans inadequacies.

Mahomes ain't Montana or Brady but shanahan just wants to keep propping him up so.

Let me know how you think Brock was outplayed though this game and I'll listen. Taking the ball from him on second down with single coverage and then not letting him try on fourth down was criminal to me...

That's typical bonehead shanahan though along with the 6 passes in a row in the third quarter...

Most coaches probably would try to run the ball with the lead though... Not shanahan.

I'm over fans who laugh at players who tear their achilles.

Before 2019 Reid was 0-1 in the SB and 1-4 in the conference championship game. So for the first 19 years as a head coach he had a WORST record than Shanahan in big games. That SB loss was by a FG and that last AFC CG loss was in OT.
