The problem with stopping the 2, is it's Mahomes v Wilks. The DC Kyle was eager to fire. Why would we want it to come to that? Late game KC was having their way on O. We all saw it. Yet KS put us in a Mahomes v Wilks to decide the SB situation. Didn't have to be like that. Kyle chose that ending.

First... what would you rather have... CMC, Deebo, Aiyuk, what's left of Kittle and Brock needing to just get into FG range on the 3rd possession against KC defense? Hell maybe a kick return gets us there.
Or Andy Reid, Mahomes vs our defense at the goal line.
Andy would rather go out with Pat finding a way to get those few yards to end the game.... than watch us march down the field for a FG to win.

The offense scores a TOUCHDOWN, and Shanahan goes for a 2-pt conversion knowing that ANDY would as well
then the defense gets even MORE rest, the Chiefs being the Chiefs score anyways, but we end up holding them and stopping the 2-pt conversion
