So we're meeting with defensive back after defensive back after defensive back…

This team does realize the OL needs help, right?
Hello Zoners,

Those may have been discussed previously but I was curious on what yall think? I have sometimes questioned the situational play calling. It seems to me he.struggles in big moments. Maybe too much pressure on him.

He's young, and in those situations it appears he could use a counter to his intuitions. Someone he can trust to bounce things off in crunch time and not have to be the manager of the entire game, as well as the offense.

It just seems to me he could use a second opinion at times. Sometimes it seems like he believes he is the smartest man in the room so im not sure he's listening.

I didn't claim to know it all but I love this team. Never would I have believed that we would lose 3 Super Bowls. I think the team is uber talented, but it is going to take intelligent decisions and excellent game management to get them over the hump. Talent can't get you there alone.

How do you know we aren't or haven't met with OL? You have only heard the names that we have met with that leaked, but it doesn't mean we haven't met with others.

O-line doesn't do their field drills until Sunday, so they may not be doing interviews yet. Shoot, they may not even get to Indy until tomorrow.

I don't see Vrabel as a 'rah rah' coach.....that's more Pete C's angle. Having said that, you can question some of Campbell's decisions, but the team played all out for the guy. The players have bought into him, but the question is how long he can go with it, and how does he evolve.

A guy on that list I have always found overrated is Mike Tomlin. Yeah...his players love his quips and whatnot, and the media falls over themselves for that nonsense, but when was the last time the Steelers won a playoff game? 7 years ago? Dude is average at best.

Tomlin and Shanahan. Pretty much the same. All hype no results. Well at least Tomlin has his SB. Shanny 0-2.5

I'd give this guy serious consideration as DC just bc he has the balls to call Shanny out on his BS. I'm glad Wilks is out bc his downfall occurred way before the SB, but that gutting loss to KC was all Shanny and his inability to take advantage with all-star cast on offense.

Damn shameful

You would think that... However the last 3 years they have done nothing to prove they are focused on the part of the team that is the biggest weakness. The second is the secondary third would be LB.

If they don't do something on the right side of the line and make it much better, the niners window will slam shut.

We should have heard about o line interviews. On the other hand they may not want to tip their hat on who they really will be picking.

Truth. He is embarrassing and fully exposed now but will be here for at least one more sb choke. York likes doing the same thing and expects different results and a lot of fans are just thrilled to make the playoffs so we are stuck with the smartest offensive mind who suffers from terminal choking disease.

He can't win the big game.
