I'll wait for cost, but we're screwed if either guy has to play significant time. I'd rather take higher ceiling flyers/unknowns personally.

Amen, Allen seems ok, but a couple things, #1 QB health is major, and yes even with BP, who did suffer major injury not all that long ago
#2, due to the BP injury, it's our rule the Purdy rule, you can dress 3 QBs. Dobbs seems pretty good, his downfall last year is he got no offseason with any club he was put in very difficult spots, I think he handled himself well considering.

I think he likes the Bears this year, a couple years ago he told us just how much better the Bears will be than us because they know how to build a football team! Those OL signings sure made a huge difference and giving up a the farm for a DE when you don't even have a QB and an offense, especially since they weren't even close to being a competitive team. We sure missed out on Mack, if only we would've offered more for Mack we definitely could've build a competitive team

Agreed, but Donald retiring definitely hurts that rams d big time. Also there's almost always a darkhorse who rises up each season. No idea who that is this year. Maybe Atlanta?
