It's these millennials. Everything is sugar coated for them. Lose a SB…hey at least we won the NFCCG. Lose the NFCCG…hey at least we made it there. Mix that in with "our coach is awesome" and "blame player X", and that pretty much describes the current fan base.

In the good ole days, SB winning coaches were fired or forced into retirement for coming up short. But even that is spun into "EddieD was a criminal, can't believe anything he did".

By all means give us an example of this…

Washington's Joe Gibbs after losing to the Raiders with one of the most unprepared teams in a SB of all time.... Oh, wait. Never mind. They kept him and he won two more in the next eight seasons.

Not a single HC that lost a SB was fired before the next season in 1980-1990. I even threw in the 1979 season since the SB was in Jan 1980. But, you know, pesky facts.

Clueless.

And he cries and b***hes just like gen z. His lack of self awareness is very bad.

Joe Gibbs? Gibbs had a ring year 2. No surprise they kept him.
by year 7 (Shanny's years) Gibbs had 2 rings
Seifert was forced out, we all know it

No situation is the same, not to mention the differences in the league and with the franchise.

Seifert inherited a SB winner that was loaded with talent and free of salary cap constraints. Kyle inherited a worst in league level roster.

Seifert was forced out after back to back loses in the divisional round to the Packers including a 1 and done situation at home when we had a dominant team on both sides of the ball.

Not sure why you're even bringing that up when we knew Seifert just ran with the team Bill put together and even then his personal stuff pushed us into making moves like trading Haley to Dallas and soon as the salary cap came into play suddenly he's not winning playoff games…almost like it's not that easy?

Either way not quite a SB losing, let alone SB winning HC getting fired is it?

Yea I'm 36. Their last SB win was when I was 5. Doesn't really count I don't remember anything. The 2012 SB sucked hard because it was our first SB loss, but I remained optimistic because for the first time I saw my team make the deepest run in my adult life. The 2019 SB straight up broke me with how it ended. I was miserable for weeks.

This past SB loss made me appreciate my family and kids. I was deeply wounded, but it made me immune to losses. I just can't show emotion over a football game when my 5 year old idolizes me and sees me cry over a sport I'm not actually physically playing in. He just put his hand on my shoulder and said it's ok dad! I was like yea...it is. No more getting emotional and raging.

I will end this by saying fack the Kelces, Mahomes, and Reid to some extent. Fack the Chiefs. That always makes me feel better

I was 18 last time I saw the 9ers win an SB..first 9er SB win I saw, I was 12:) I was used to seeing the 9ers win. It became normal, pretty much expected. This has all been a big blow to me lol. Yeah, if I had kids, I defo probably would not get emotional, wouldn't want my kid to see that. Not a good look. But since I don't, I just go ahead and cry on my Purdy jersey lol (twice now). I hold it close to me and face plant myself in red dyed polyester and let it all flow out. And it comforts me lol
