Btw, when do we blame players for a loss? In that championship game vs the Rams, was Kyle just telling Jimmy to have one of the worst 4th qts in playoffs history? Is that why you blame Kyle? I'm pretty sure he also told Ward to make sure he drops any INTs if Stafford throws one.

We are really starting to rival the Cowboys fan base

Got ya. When Kyle Wilson drops a punt we blame JH but when JG throws a pick we blame JG. You can always blame the players.

Was LA as good as Seattle? The past 5 years they've been nothing more than above average.

Probably haven't noticed the lengths some of you will go to attack the guy

It's more practical to attack a guy that has one of the best rosters in the league year in and year out and has nothing to show for it. Than to praise that same guy just for getting us into the playoffs and losing in the biggest of moments.

Just baffling that Shanny has become some kind of folk hero around these parts just for showing up. At least the national media / 49ers pundits don't fall for the same antics that some of the fans around here do. Or we'd be extending Kyle for another 25 years just for being a coach.

This is beyond splitting hairs at this point.

This whole forum is stuck in a pointless caucus race, talking in circles.

It'll end when Shanahan gets shown the door. Fingers crossed 🤞
Until he wins a Superbowl, Kyle will have a huge monkey on his back.

Even though he is a tremendous head coach.

All Kyle does is set records.

Yep, the OC allowed a comeback. The only game in the history of the NFL that giving up a 25 point lead had nothing to do with the defense or the head coach...

28-3 is well known as a Kyle special. He's the common denominator in all this

There are a handful of posters here that intend to disrupt the flow, simply because they are unable to react like thinking adults. Rather, they are happy to react like children. Maybe they are children, I don't know. Clueless and self absorbed, they prattle on about 'coaching mistakes as if they somehow know more than the fella actually charged with performing the task. They seem to believe they have wisdom in great abundance. Something that is evidently missing from the HC, GM, and administration. They all think that tearing down what has been built is the perfect solution to a problem that they invented. Unfortunately, they offer no viable solution other than firing the HC, being sure that this act will cure the problem History is not their friend or mentor. They are clogging the flow with asinine insights as though they know from experience, which is painfully obvious that they don't. There are the types of folk that cause good businesses to go under from within. Can't wait till they tuck their tail between their collective legs and scurry away. Forgive me, I'm just tired of the negativity.

Yah has nothing to do with muffed punts, fumbles by RB's. The defense allowing TD's or refs not calling s**t.

Thats a f**kin lame ass tweet.

So you're gonna make up s**t now lol? Why would it be JH's fault that Kyle even if Wilson dropped the punt? Don't blame JH for that, and don't blame Kyle for Jimmy sucking in those 4th QTs (SB and NFCCG)

I don't know why you guys try to place the blame on a HC with everything. If a Pitcher gives up 4 HRs in one inning, do they blame the manager? If Lebron or whoever has a bad 4th QT or misses GW shots do they blame the coach?

It would be one thing if Kyle comes in the big games completely unprepared and we get our asses whooped, but these SB loses we had were very close games our players didn't step up when it mattered in the 4th. You can always place some blame on the HC sure, but in the end it's always on the players! Bill Walsh isn't will all those SBs without Montana. BB isn't winning all those SBs without Brady. Jackson isn't winning all those titles without Kobe/MJ. NOBODY gives most of the credit to a coaching staff, players win or lose you games. Crazy that this has to be explained to people that have been watching sports for decades.

Right. Because the only viable solution here to continue with the same expecting different results. What's the definition of insanity again ? What makes you think that Shanahan will turn it around and win one "eventually" ?

I'm out of excuses for Kyle in these situations. I expect way better from the NFLs offensive mastermind. Maybe I just believe in him more than you guys. You guys don't seem to think he could do better

Now apply your understanding of insanity to your posts.

Why focus on the 4th ? What did Kyle do in the 3rd quarter when we had the Chiefs shut down ?

what did Kyle do to close that first half when we played them in round one a few years ago.

you guys like to harp on the 4th quarter bc it's a lazy way to blame players instead of the coach. But when you look at the film as a whole, BOTH times our team should have taken the kill shot way before it got to the 4th quarter.

you want to summarize Kyle's very existence as a play caller in key situations. Go rewatch the 3rd quarter of the SB. Tell me Kyle didn't blow the chance to step on KC's throat…..
Kyle just needs to win one.
