Kyle is held to a standard no one else is. Par for course.

Standard ? Dude has zero rings, choked multiple times in SBs and playoff games, but is regarded as the savior of the franchise because he was an upgrade over Jim Tomsula. It's a downright embarrassment because you put him in the 80s / 90s and EddieD would've shown him the door years ago.

Mediocrity is the norm around these parts. Make the playoffs equates to having your name put in the ring of honor

You mean like Eddie D wanted to do to Walsh in 87?

Imagine that. A SB winning coach being held accountable by an owner that cared only about winning Superbowls. Kyle would be demoted back to being water boy in that era. In the era of nepo owners and half baked fans, Kyle is considered as one of the most successful coaches of all time
Still feeding the trolls on this?

How was Walsh held accountable following the 87 loss again? A stern discussion? Lol.

imagine getting turned out by a 40 year old motto that was never real in the first place.

do you guys think mike mcdaniel was the real genius behind kyle or did kyle design and engineer and develop the genius so kyle is the creator of the genius

Considering we've had our best offense under Kyle in the two seasons after McDaniel left, I don't see how there's any argument that Kyle was riding on his shoulders.

They're both smart. Run good systems that elevate the players, especially the QB.

He got called out on social media by a teammate and responded.

It was his mistake. Doesn't make pulling the center smart. Alex Boone worships Kyle and even he let it slip. At about 10:20, "it's just a bad, bad philosophy"

Alex Boone doesn't play for 49ers anymore.

Guards/Cs pulling on passing plays is nothing new in the KS scheme. It's what masks our Run/Pass offense. If you actually watch the games, you would see we do this from time to time on passing plays.

Player shows maturity and takes all blame. Kyle apologists rejoice.

Ffs you are so damn stupid lol. This was a response to you saying it was Kyle's f**k up. Nothing about rejoicing. Burford admitted it was his f**k up. But you want to be internet clown that knows better what happened than the player that actually played in the game lmao. Do you really not understand how dumb you sound? Rhetorical question...

The Genius was Bill Walsh

Without Walsh Eddie D was just a silver spoon rich kid running his mouth.

Acting like harassing the legend that put his franchise on the map and built the dynasty was a good thing just tells me that you're an unserious person. Without Walsh, Debartolo would have been just another rich d******d owner failing miserably because he couldn't keep his nose out of team operations.

I said it's partly on Kyle, and it is. Boone doesn't need to be on the team. He played the position, and knows much more about it than you

You don't seem to understand how coaching decisions effect what happens on the field

Matt Ryan took a sack, but was it necessary for him to be dropping back? No - bad coaching decision

Burford messed up, but was it necessary to run that blocking scheme on the biggest play of the season with a lineman that's struggled all year? No - bad coaching decision

Josh Johnson messed up, but should we have all of a sudden been trying to run two minute drills with him? No - bad coaching decision

McDaniels is a product of Shanahan, not the other way around. McDaniels is an awesome play designer in his own right but Kyle and his imagination are the foundation to our offense and it'll evolve. Idk how this is even in question. Lol

watch what happens now that Kyle has a reliable QB for the first time in his SF tenure.

Eddie treated Bill Walsh badly. He was overdemanding and in retrospect he would agree. They kind of kissed and made up and Bill came back as President, but it was never the same.

They also treated Joe Montana like s**t. They Got rid of a 4-time Superbowl winning quarterback like he was a piece of trash.

Mistakes have been made by this franchise.
