never is a long time. the question to me is will he win a SB with this current roster.

the talent is there, so is the ultimate cheat code of QB1 making 900k, that's a historic advantage few if any teams will ever have

It would be a travesty not to win a super bowl with how much talent we currently have on this team.

IMO a head coach can only do so much. Kyle can dial up the plays and get them where they need to be…those guys need to execute everything though.

at some point your stars need to show up at the biggest moments. BA wants to be paid like an elite WR, in the biggest game of his life he was a ghost, I think he had 3 catches for like 50 yards. Like the KC's DB coach said he spent more time talking trash than catching balls.

kittle in two SB's has 6 catches for 40 yards. Da f**k is that? Trent getting holding penalties, CMC fumbling in the RZ. Jimmy G having the worst passer rating in the 4th QR or a SB ever? Can't beat the best with that s**t.

I mean Brock wasn't awful, he wasn't special either. Dude's gonna want top 5 $$ and imo he's gotta show up in those types of moments to be labeled elite, if not he's just Tony Romo 2.0.

49ers need their dudes to show up when it matters at the end of the year. The Super Bowl is full of moments like that and we haven't had that in the past 3.

I swear it's like some people in here have just got into watching the NFL.

Why do you think the 16-0 Pats lost to the 10-6 Giants in the SB? Bill Belichick as their HC. Coaching staff filled with future HCs. GOAT QB in his best season ever. 2nd best WR in NFL history having his best season. Roster loaded top to bottom. #1 offense in yards and scoring. #4 defense in yards and scoring.

Giants middle of the pack on both sides of the ball in terms of scoring. Gave up 38 points at HOME to that same Pats offense a month prior. Tom Brady was laughing at the idea Pats would only score 17 points.

Winning SBs is not easy. There are a lot of things that have to go right and a lot of things that can't go wrong for you. Even the best get got. Pats were 13 point favorites in that SB. They lost.

People have no idea what will happen down the road. Saying Kyle will never win one is stupid. He's had 2 tries as the HC and both times we ran into Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs with a very good defense, ironically coached by the same guy who kept Tom Brady and that 2007 Pats offense to 14 points.

This game isn't just about talent unfortunately. It's about that but you also need luck and in close games things like luck can swing a game. Chiefs got them in our two games and won. We didn't and lost.

Eventually things turn around but the more opportunities you get, the chances of pulling it out are there.

To be fair to BA he wasn't getting the opportunities. Kyle's biggest f up in the SB was running the offense through Deebo vs Aiyuk.

Kittle keeps having his best plays wiped off the board either with poor pass pro or penalties.

But I agree. Your best players have to come up big. The Chiefs had that. Whether Mahomes, Kelce(granted after Dre got hurt) or Chris Jones or McDuffie.

We simply didn't have anyone do that on our end which is pretty frustrating but that's not coaching. Some guys want the ball - like Kelce yelling at Reid on the sidelines and their passion translates. Fred and Dre are like that but honestly I feel like the injury f'd with Fred's head to a degree.

We needed guys like Bosa to step up. Someone on offense. Even CMC had the key fumble and wasn't running as well. Trent Williams finally gets a chance at a SB and he's getting owned by a guy off the PS.

You made some great points however we still don't know if he will get that chance with this roster. The Lions and eagles got better this offseason. The Packers are an up and coming team and there maybe a wildcard who is also in the running. We all know how hard it is to just get there and who's to say Kyle will be in the superbowl with this roster. Injuries could decimate the team. It's about when we get there and what we do with that opportunity.

To blame only Kyle for the superbowl loss is foolishness. He is a good coach but may never win one so be it, bummer but that could happen. We just don't know how things are going to play out.

I'm a Niners fan so I hope this year we finally get over the hump but we shall see.

I also know the Goff's personally so if we have to lose, I hope it's to the Lions. I would love see Goff win it all. It's hard to watch though bleeding red and gold.

you're not really understanding what took place here. the play was a run to Pacheco. Lenoir gets off his block and forces the fumble. The blocker is Noah Gray a reserve TE. Kelce was specifically upset cuz it's the SB, a ring is at stake and he felt Reid was messing with his ring, by having him out of the game and Gray in. To block. had zero to do with wanting the ball. he wanted to be in on that play blocking so Gray doesn't take the L and KC loses the football.

Dude take your condescending posting out of here. You of all people have no right to play the "you don't understand what's happening here".

I'll admit my wording wasn't great but the point was Kelce has no problem showing his passion in a game. Everyone talked about his speech ahead of the game. You can tell he's got no problem hyping his team up.

But even there him wanting to be on the field shows the fire that inspires the team. I'm not expecting guys to get in Kyle's face all the time but big players need to make plays in big games. Ours didn't. Theirs did. They won.

Hell ironically the two most hyped guys on our team - Trent and Deebo had their worst games for us.

Kinda disagree there… BA was running routes. Get open and the ball will come your way. Simple as that.

Kittle wasn't getting open either.

honestly I don't think we need to make excuses for those guys not showing up. They simply didn't and it happens.

We need our stars to show up. We need our young QB who's gonna get paid a f**k ton of cash to do a little more.

Jennings shouldn't be our leading receiver in the Super Bowl with this roster.

hopefully it sparked something and they kick ass this yr. It's now or never with this immediate core of players imo

I mean Kelce sucks at blocking hence why he was out on that play…yell at your coach all you want, be better at blocking and he's gonna put you in on that play. Simple as that.

Why you posting the same thing in multiple threads lol
Because we all must come together to believe and seek an extremely positive attitude to our next season because our 49er players, coaches and staff need us fans to give them extra warmth and glow in our strength to help them partake on what is the most important season since Steve Young got the monkey off his back, I don't think people realise how good our team will be this season, we are favourites in every game and the improvement we will show this season is astronomical. But the only thing that can bring us down is us ourselves. By being negative nellies and not giving 100% energy to our team in a positive sense we can hold our great team back. So please, think before you write something here because while it is still preseason and feels to some not that important, energy and momentum can switch and change just based on a couple of bad words or bad thoughts or negative engagement of ideas that can being our whole great team down. This is our best chance to win the Superbowl in a long long time. The only negative out there is BA coming back and other than that; we clearly have the best team in the NFL next year and nothing and no one can stop us, unless we stop ourselves. The Boston Celtics just won the NBA title after a long string of outs, and they did it in a bland and unassuming way without anyone trying to do anything except put team and effort forward as the MAIN INGREDIENTS FOR THE MAGIC ELXER that fills the stomach and the souls need to sustenance when the job has to be done and I think this year's San Fransisco 49ers will win the Superbowl the same way. So, if you get the chance, be humble and think "not what your team can do for you, but what you can do for your team."
I have a dream. Where all 49ers' fans come together on this forum board in unity and as one. Go 49ers!

Believe fellow 49er fans...

You just gotta Believe!
