49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

It's a long season and many things could happen. Injuries, bad bounces, another team getting hot at the right time. There are plenty of reasons why it may not happen, first and foremost that it's damn hard to be the last team standing of 32. Those are long odds no matter how bad the worst team is.

It's you and the Shannafans who get their panties in a bunch anytime anyone dares to criticize Shanahan.

It's all you do. Criticize Lynch and Shanahan. Have you ever made a post about anything else in your 4000 posts?

The truth hurts. KC celebrated 4 SB wins pre-game yesterday. Two came at the behest of Kyle Shanahan, who gift wrapped those rings personally for Mahomes.

It's disgusting but a lot of you guys cope by making it a "well it's in the rear view now so oh well let's just run it back and expect a different result next time". Wonder how many years of this you guys will take before you start holding Shanahan accountable…

What exactly is he being stubborn about? Naming Allen QB2? We're not in the team meetings or practices, which Shanahan has always valued more than preseason games.

s**t never changes with him. Allen looked garbage his last preseason game. With starters. So we have to wait for Allen to look garbage again in a regular season game(s), if we lose Brock for a game or two? Potentially losing important regular season games that might f**k with playoff seating?

Dobbs has regular season starts... just last year. With various teams and offensive systems.

Shhhh. You don't know what he knows. Even though Dobbs has played starter in the league, and showed way more skill level than Allen this preseason, Shanahan (and clearly his fans) know what's best for this team.

The reality ? Shanahan can't fathom having a player that will execute the offense outside his play calls. He's not looking for an improviser. He's looking for a dud to sit back in the pocket and let Kyle play Madden 20–. Now if Purdy goes down, we'll have to watch Allen crap the bed for a good 3 weeks before Kyle realizes he's not the best option out there.

He's such a clown. Just sick of this dope stepping all over a Super Bowl roster. f**king wasted 5 years of a potential dynasty team…

Only the smartest amongst us are critical of a Coachs roster decisions at the top of our posts while admitting we've got a Super Bowl "dynasty" roster at the bottom.

the best way to make our points is to contradict them in the same post. Works every time 🤡🤡
I'm sure Kyle will be hardest on himself for not winning one so far, it must burn knowing his Dad won 2 and McVay has one.

Grant says there are rumblings from management that they are all in this year with Kyle. It's either put up or shut up, and Kyle will end up on the hot seat if he fails to deliver.

Finally
More like Grant's job security as a shiitposter is in danger than Kyles HC job

Dude is lives in denial...

When the reporters grilled him that he's risking Trey's health by running him up the middle too much.. he brushed it off. Then the next week Trey gets injured for the season, and when they asked him after the game why run him so much (hell on 2nd and 8 on the second drive of the game).. Kyle got defensive and said every team does it... common football play... brought up the Bills and Josh Allen... and what happened the very next week?.. The Bills didn't run Josh Allen one play.. were spooked themselves, until they got comfortable again.

I'm just saying, even when it is obvious he f**ks up... he doesn't have it in him to admit it even a bit... to even hint at it. At the Super Bowl when no coach in college has ever recieved in OT.. Kyle wanted to be the first for some stupid idiotic reason.. thought it would be a good idea to give Patrick f**king Mahomes four downs on a final possession, when the Chiefs know what they would need to do. Even after the fact... Kyle still got defensive after the game... said his team studied it hard (but for some reason didn't coach it to the players, like Andy Reid did with his). Kyle never learns his lesson because he has everyone kissing his ass... local media, national media, fans online.... the media protected him showing up drunk to the Super Bowl week. Would that happen to other head coaches? So no.. he will continue to live in denial and continue to have scape goats (like last year being Steve Wilks). Who will it be this season?

His actual mistake (beyond drafting Trey in the first place) was playing Trey Lance when he clearly wasn't good enough or ready for the position.

It would have served no purpose for him to say this publicly. He clearly 'admitted' to his mistake by signing Darnold to compete and eventually overtake Lance, and then cutting the cord on the Lance experiment altogether.

It was an obvious example of him learning fast and adjusting.
So much anger from 49ers fans. Over entertainment. It's sad.
