The results were +12 yards and the clock kept running. What difference would running the ball do based on those results? Were you expecting two 10+ yard runs to get the 1st down on 1st and 20?

This is just moronic thinking. THE PASSES WORKED. THEY KEPT THE CLOCK RUNNING. Guess what a 6 yard rushing average gets you? THE SAME 12 YARDS.

It made no difference whatsoever.

Plus, guess what plays get called for offensive holding? RUNNING PLAYS.

I can easily argue that running the play before those two passes lost us the game because we got called for holding on it. Far less likely to get called for holding if passing on 1st and 10.

kyle needs to fire himself from financial side. because waiting to get a deal down with aiyuk and let other teams raise and set the market value higher is annoying. he should hire someone to push lynch/paraag to stop being a dumbf**k.

an in-form and well connected brock and aiyuk fused together like saimese twin brothers and we beat the rams.

The passes didn't work because we left enough clock for the Rams to win the game. You are suffering from the same tactical (not strategic) thinking that Shanny is suffering from on game day, which is why he needs a game day play caller
We had a tie game with 1:09 left and we managed not only to not score but to leave the other team enough time to score without giving us a chance to answer

NO THEY f**kING DIDN'T.

Look at the plays - the COMPLETED passes KEPT THE CLOCK GOING. Once under 5 minutes the only time the clock stopped on that drive was because of the holding penalty ON A RUN PLAY and two Rams timeouts. There could LITERALLY not be any more time ran off the clock by run plays on that drive. MORE CLOCK RUNOFF COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED ON THAT DRIVE WITH RUN CALLS.

Yes. I already said on the second 1st and 10 at that moment a run could have been called.

That's ONE play. One.

One play is not the same as "Kyle should have called 30 more run plays in the second half."

Sweet, where does that show up in the W column?

Mrs. Shanahan, I'm sure your boy is very nice. Hope he enjoys his participation trophy.

It's so annoying to see the blame on Kyle's offense. The blame Kyle deserves is on his defense and special teams. Stop one of those last four Rams drives and they win. Instead the Rams just ran and passed all over them. That's Kyle's fault as the HC. The play calls were mostly fine. If I could swap the 3rd and 1 run for a pass and/or the 1st and 10 pass with 1:08 left for a run, sure I'd be down for those. But overall the play calls worked but were let down by specific players messing them up. The defense and special teams were both total group/scheme failures, and that's a far, far bigger issue.

Crazy what the other offense's team can do when you leave them time on the clock

When your defense sucks it's generally accepted logic to play keep away and not let them have the ball
