tell me what he managed bad yesterday? BP took a silly sack. we lose point cuz of a bizarre kicker injury. Mason put it on the ground. so i have player complaints. let's hear your Kyle complaints. i am curious. not blanket statements, but give me some specific in game moments.

That series in the 3rd after we knew Moody was gone. 4th and 23 or something. I felt he handled that bad. He also started the game with all passing against a defense that has been terrible against the run which was odd, but I think he tends to overthink a bunch and ends up outsmarting himself.

Also to be clear I never blamed him for yesterdays loss. My post is more my observations since 2017. The roster is headed in the wrong direction, especially in the trenches. Since he has final personnel say, I have to hold him to it. And no I do not want him fired. never have. But that doesn't mean I wont say what i don't like or what i think etc. I can critique the guy and still like him.

on that series after Moody was down, i posted the play in the Brock thread. that's all Brock. he had all day and ate a unforced error type sack. Shanny had to be boiling there. he knows he has no kicker and there's nothing on the sheet for 4th and 23. i was like you at first i thought you can't get backed up like that as a HC with no kicker, but when you revisit that sequence, the QB lost his dang mind.

So you think Mike McCarthy and McDermott are better coaches?

kyle and McVay have damn near the same record and folks in here think McVay is a golden god. Do you believe Tomlin is better? Since he lost Big Ben he's right around .500 and hasn't won a SB since 2008 (with someone else's team).

Bill's got a losing record without Tommy.

No I am just adding fuel to the fire to piss you off

Haha. I mean I'm not pissed, I just don't see many real takes that are worth legit discussions. A lot of holes in these takes, if you ask me lol.

lol I know. You see my replies. I consider myself a cynical realist, but I am not over emotionally irrational. (Except after the SB loss, then yes lol) Its incredibly hard to win it all and the odds are its done for this current roster barring any miracles which I will gladly eat crow.

I see a big roster overhaul next offseason, but with their recent track record in drafts and FA I am not feeling so confident about it.

He's an idiot.

For all the fans who want Shanahan gone, he'll have another job in five minutes and the 49ers will likely be right back to the carousel of s**tty coaches, the Nolan's, Singletary's, Tomsula's and Chip Kelly's and when that happens, the only upside for me would be laughing at all the tools that are were whining about a team only making it to conference championships and SBs getting to watch a return to 5 and 6 win seasons all over again, having nothing to look forward to but the draft by November 1st each season.

Fair, but why is Purdy regressing? That's the most alarming thing to me. I was hoping for the next step, but instead its looking off for him.

I will say the pressure is f'in with him. There are so many plays Brendel or someone else gets blown the hell up and there is only so much of that you can witness before it becomes habit/expected.

Also a bit off topic between us but Sorensen isn't looking to hot. I don't even know the ST coach but holy hell... and Forester..... I think he can do better and maybe needs to take a fresh stab at things. All these things fall under his decision making.

serious question. What makes him an incredible offensive mind?

These fans will point to the offensive stats, which have only been top ten three out of seven years. Without immense talent like six Pro Bowlers, his offense is a dud.

Never mind context with any of that lol. Like early on they weren't playing with Beathard/mullens for half the damn time. Dude was making chicken salad out of chicken s**t with Jimmy G. We all saw how he looked without him.

Still made it to the freaking NFCC with the 21at ranked offense and half a Jimmy G. K dude

I cannot imagine him gone as that does not make sense, but perhaps new staff around him and a shift in personnel power structure?

This choke artist is not irreplaceable. He does the least with the most talented roster in the league. All kinds of coaches can replace a guy who collapses in the 4th quarter.

They were up three scores with one minute to play in the second quarter. Keep saying things that tell me you're blacked out drunk during these games.

AND still had to score points in order to WIN the game. Keep telling me you don't know a god damn thing about football and love tossing out b******t takes.

They lost the Rams game.

Any hardwood specialists in the forum?

On a last second FG….how thick headed are we gonna be?

I agree. It is difficult to find a decent head coach. However, we need to temper our expectations with Shanahan because of who he is. We expect too much because been so close too many times and left with heartache.

Agreed. Good coaches are really hard to find similar to a franchise QB. Unless you got a slam dunk candidate waiting in the wings stop talking.

You sound like an abused wife.

And it's four winning seasons in seven years. The way this season is going it's going to be four winning seasons in eight years.

Too much shotgun, not enough play-action, too many deep/slow developing shots
Hey guys did you know scoring points when it's a one score game, doesn't count when talking about an offense and PPG?

looks like someone has a lot of work to do when it comes to figuring out which team's PPG matter and who's doesn't when talking about ranks 🤣 🫠
Some are being overly dramatic right now. Sure It's frustrating to lose to teams you expect to beat, but let's have a little patience and reserve our judgement until the midway point of the season at least.

This season Is far from over.

How many coaches have been to three conference championship games in the past three years? Hell that's as many as Sean Payton has been to his entire coaching career and that includes nearly 15 seasons with a HOF QB.

Every year there's highly regarded coaches that end up flopping or have one year of success and then fall off completely. I have zero doubt that the 49ers will regularly be in contention with Kyle as HC.
