Dude is just not Head Coach material. Certainly not player personnel where he really struggles with picks. I just don't want him at all. But I can see how some call him Offensive Coordinator. Still he's struggling even in the redzone. So how good is he even at offense?

The 49ers were #1 in the red zone last year. Losing CMC is killing this team right now. It might be different if they knew during the off season that he wouldn't be available but they didn't and now they're scrambling to find a way to make up for his production. Without CMC as an outlet when he's under pressure he is forced to scramble around more trying to find an open receiver.

We shouldn't be this bad with Aiyuk, Kittle, Deebo, TW - at LT, Banks, Puni and a good running game. Sometimes just run it in. We have enough WR's and TE's to get it done. It should be better.

The thing is we would have won last game if kittle didn't have 3 drops.

Aiyuk and deebo are absolutely worthless in the Redzone. They can't beat man coverage so they're non factors.

Without CMC this leaves dropsie kittle and Juan who was hurt as the only mismatches due to their size

Kittle dropped a touchdown and Juan was hurt so IE we have no one who can score.

Shanahan hasn't realized the only real options in the RedZone are every play is Jennings or little or Brock designed runs. Or you let Mason run into a stacked box

Every other play is worthless. That's why cowing should be playing out of the slot because he's actually quick but he's a rookie so he will never see the field. Pearsall should be able to do the same thing and beat man.

Your problem is your vastly overrating deebo and yuk. They are worthless in the compressed field.

forget cowing. he couldn't do the punt return job without incident. let him handle that. he doesn't know all the plays yet or where to line up and what route to run. takes time.

Big size or elite quickness help you in a compressed field. So Jauan Jennings or Cowing. In two different ways could be effective there.

So if he's 1-1 he's great? One game changes the whole narrative of a loser or elite status lol? In a football game with dozens of players and coaches involved?

So if SF wins a SB 6-3 and our defense just shuts down the team, but the offense only gets two FGs. Kyle is great, right? You wouldn't debate it all or saying he didn't do anything? If you say no, well sorry I don't believe you.

Catching as a receiver and fielding punts is completely different.

It does take time to learn the offense but he had a full off-season.

The complexity of the offense is due to shanahan.

The fact that he won't play rookie players unless they know every play on both offense and defense is on the coach. A smart coach would let him know his dozen or so plays and find a way to get him in the game and utilize him.

Literally because of what I said above. You have no other mismatches so if you want to win you need to find a way to get cowing involved.

Stubbornness has always bit us. Mason could have won us a SB in February but stubbornness kept him out of the game.

It's not going to change now just because it's obvious that certain rookies need to be involved. It was obvious Mason was good for two seasons but he still didn't get used.

It won't change now.
