4 NFCCG 2 SB is equal to always falling short… that doesn't make any sense
If you don't win the SB with the best roster, you fell short. He's now squandered that best roster opportunity. Thankfully he fell ass backwards into a fqb
Ok...let's get this s**t out of here. In a week to week game, what made the 49ers roster better than KC?
OC: Split
QB: Chiefs
RB: 49ers
WR: 49ers
TE: Split
LT: 49ers
LG: Chiefs
C: Chiefs
RG: Chiefs
RT: Chiefs
RDE: 49ers
LDE: Chiefs
DT: Chiefs
DT: 49ers
SLB: Chiefs
MLB: 49ers
WLB: 49ers
CB: Chiefs
CB: Chiefs
FS: Chiefs
SS: Chiefs
DC: Chiefs
K:Chiefs
Even if you think CB1/CB2 could be split since Ward had a hell of a season when you dig into it...the Chiefs arguably had more talent, certainly by the later stages of that game after Greenlaw and Feliciano injuries than we did.
Our "most talented roster" thing all came down because of the skill players on offense and the big names on defense. But fact is the Chiefs defense was much better as a unit with better coaching to go with it. And when it came down to it, our biggest weakness - OL, became an even bigger problem with Feliciano's injury.
So that's how the "best roster" loses a game.
