Yes because Kyle can even take a below avg QB and make him a viable starter. You can only polish a turd so much.

Once he left here…the stinky turd was no longer polished.

As I said in this thread before...coaches don't choke away games. Players do that.

How coaches choke? They don't have players ready to play well. They make terrible coaching decisions mid game that lead to major issues or scheme disadvantages.

Harbaugh did ALL of those.

The team had 2 weeks to prepare for a lesser squad. We were the better team nearly across the board. We were made to create problems for that Ravens roster. We came out unprepared and took a huge deficit and got incredibly lucky that the Ravens momentum was stopped for us by the blackout. We were able to rally and get the game close and then Harbaugh in his stupid coaching method in the redzone called a timeout on the would be game leading TD play. He then took out our best player, the player gashing their defense - while the Ravens best run defender was NOT in the game and called 3 straight passes from a young QB.

I don't care what the score was, that's irrelevant. Coaching decisions and prep absolutely took down the talent we had in that game.

People may speculate if Kyle called more run plays in 2019 we'd win that game. Well Jimmy audibled out of some of them and also had plenty of plays available for him to complete - including the Sanders throw where it was open and he had plenty of time. That's a player not getting it done. Last year Purdy not throwing to Aiyuk after the 2 min warning to kill clock and hit the game winning FG. Burford not blocking Chis Jones, those are player errors. The scheme and the playcall had them setup for success on the play.

Dude there's so much context in games and s**t that's out of the hands of a HC. They matter a ton, but pretending the players don't is ridiculous

Harbs has always been know as a choker….lost 6 straight bowl games after leaving here. Some in epic fashion. Dude was suspended for cheating then got caught again and left college football lol. He will never win a SB in the NFL either.

no one will ever be known as more of a choker than Andy 20 yrs of straight let down.

you are full it today. kyle picked jimmy and we won like 2 to 1 ratio. this is your routine. you put down our former players and coaches, just like you put down Harbaugh needlessly. you don't need to put down others to prop kyle up. we can like all these 49ers, the current ones and former ones.

Thats not putting down.. it's the truth.

jimmy was also 2-1 TD/INT ratio and worse in the playoffs

Guys there's a reason Kyle has made a name for himself as an all time choker. There is no amount of projecting onto other coaches that will change that. There's a difference between losing and choking. You'd think Kyle would be able to manage one of these leads to championship by now. He's had too many leads to not be able to get it done. The label he gets is fair, and he will be #1 all time choker if he never gets it done. He has the resume already

Choking isn't losing leads. It's losing to an inferior team. 2007 Pats choked.

I don't get why you guys are so worried about Harbaugh when we have the biggest choker of all time currently coaching our favorite team. That's where our worries should be. Michigan stuck with Harbaugh unlike Jed and he ended up shutting everyone up. Let's see if Kyle can do it

Took him 13 years as a division 1 HC and 4 years in NFL to win anything. Yet Kyle should go after 8.

SDWright has spoken
I'll cross post this here as well because I focused solely on what Shanny needs to do vs Spags

He does. He just knows things need to change. Kyle has a little Aaron Rodgers in him imo. He's talented enough to pull it off like Aaron, but he's not going to be a consistent champion with his mindset. There's a reason a QB as talented as Rodgers went to one SB coming out of the NFC. He didn't have a champions mindset. They both lay blame at others feet instead of looking at what they can do better
