49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

So it's Klay Kubiak's first yr as the passing game specialist, his brother did that last yr.

when the running game isn't cooking, they're in trouble. Passing concepts overall in those situations just aren't there like in the past. For sure that falls on Kyle. I don't know maybe we need a new "passing game specialist" to be put in that room when building each week's game plan. Cause it's pretty damn stale right now.

Now come the offseason I think Kyle needs to make some big changes to his staff..

He should roll out the red carpet to Saleh for defense next year. . If that falls through he needs to go in an entirely new direction and get some young guy from college or something.

Obviously a new ST coordinator.

Same for assistant positions.... bring in new blood. I think the o line guy sucks. And even Coach K.... wth. but I would let whoever the DC is build the staff there.

Whatever is on his plate, he needs to offload a bunch and trust his staff more. The man looks like a zombie lately.

I am not saying we will miraculously be amazing, but seeing him try this would be a good indication the man is humble and hungry.

The Yorks lucked into hiring Shanahan after the Broncos' decided not to hire him. The Yorks wanted Josh McDaniels, who lucky for them turned them down at the last minute. They were left scrambling and had to convince Shanahan to take the job. Did you guys forget about the Jed York and Paraag Marathe PowerPoint presentation to convince Kyle Shanahan to take the job? Did people forget the stigma and stench lingering around this organization after the Harbaugh debacle? Nobody serious wanted to work here. The 49ers would probably be looking for their 2nd or 3rd HC right now after firing Josh McDaniels. That's exactly the type of hire this fanbase will get if they fire Shanahan and deservedly so.

Some of you need to put your heads out of your asses and remember what this organization was like before Shanahan got here. Losing and dysfunction are the York norm. This isn't your uncle Eddie's team from 40 f**king years ago.

I think we need an OC to take s**t off his plate. He stay as coach but get a sharp OC. Sorry but that is my feelings on this. And a new ST Cord.
Kyloe needs to focus on the entire picture as HC. It's missing. He needs help but he is too stubborn to admit it.

let's not mischaracterize it as a 'decade' when it was two years, right? harbs, two lost years, then kyle. and in those lost years you lay a bit of foundation. we got buck and AA.
