49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Coaches want to coach.

Saleh wants to be Saleh.

But outside the toxic environment of New York.

Our team is struggling and shanahan ego is too big to ask for help

A friend of mine did his thesis on the evolution of a meme of Robert Saleh's face during his tenure as the New York Jets' head coach, and specifically the online copypasta.

One conclusion he drew was those young men in their teens, 20s and 30s who sought most of their humour from the likes of Reddit, and 4Chan, had difficulty in making joker "IRL", but don't let that distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind in Hell in the Cell and they both plummeted 16 feet through the announcer's table.
the seat is a little warm, but if the 49ers come out against the cowgirls and play ugly and s**t the bed...... it'll definitely heat up sooner than most ppl think.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Kyle Shanahan is the best HC the 9ers had since George Seifert. Haters keep hating!!!!

I love the my head coach!!!

Prior to watching some tape I was reading your posts and few others I respect on here and was curious to see which way was up with KS.

I love the story behind George Seifert that had to take the reins from the super coach and keep the team winning. Amazing.

Jim Harbaugh did some stuff but I agree the Kyle has put the team in more glory than they had prior to 1994. And most of it surprising many.

After watching tape I can see what you are talking about with the rooks and the role the injuries play with the replacements missing assignments.
Which leads Kyle to dumb down the plays and let good to great opponents eat his lunch.
I am sure we have been playing this way for quite a while and the brilliance of some of the roster has glossed over these shortcomings.
Not only that but the league has seen Kyle's play style in the spotlight for the past 4 seasons and they have adapted all while Kyle is trying to maintain the level of play with a crazy injury toll at key offensive positions and the elevation of good coaching staff to other teams.

I just hope he can find a way for the team that was almost as good as the 1989 team on paper regroup and get back on track.

sorry if posted already. Brutal film. Team looks awful and unprepared. Hmmmm. Wonder who's in charge of that.

If there was a move to be made this would have been a great addition to the staff.
This coach and John Lynch are asleep behind the wheel.

Seems like every year posters like you post this nonsense when the team struggles for a bit but you guys never acknowledge the big mid season trades this team does before the trade deadline. I remember a couple years ago someone said Kyle's ego was too big to go get a legit running back.

Players we traded midseason:
CMC
Chase Young
E Sanders
Jimmy G

but but cOacH aND lyNCh aRe AsLeEP!!!

I like how GB is using him. Lafleur played his cards perfectly. He's not making him a defensive consultant because he doesn't want to mess with the mojo of his defensive staff, but he wants to use Saleh to game plan against the opponent's defenses.

How smart. Meanwhile Kyle got rid of Fangio and Wilks because he didn't "like" their schemes which he thought (because he's such a defensive guru) would require too much scheme change on that side of the ball.

what a clown

You act like Brandon Stely is just some chump who can't game plan either.

Some people are clowns.

I remember people here saying every single player / coach in the NFL wants to play / work under Shanahan.

I guess that's no longer true.

Nobody wants to work under this sinking ship. It's a declining empire.

Mike Silver was wrong again.

If you listen to how LaFleur described it, Saleh will be there sparingly. He spent a few days staying with LaFleur and then went back home to Michigan. It sounds like it's going to be a pretty informal, part time role where he helps scout and point out weaknesses in the Packers offense.

That's a rough watch. Someone needs to be held liable for this s**t show.
