People are so funny.

I guess count me in the tribe That Doesn't Like Losing Super Bowls.

Game of inches.

I think the 49ers had the better roster but the play calling, particularly in the second half when the team had a lead led to the loss. This has become a trend through three Shanahan Super Bowls across two teams spanning ten years.

It's sad but yeah, that's very likely.

In the first Super Bowl against the chiefs I'll take Mahomes and scrubs over JimmyG and whatever any day. Better roster? The second Super Bowl was pretty evenly matched and turned on a special teams mess up and a bad call by Kyle. Generally speaking, I think this roster is over-hyped, older, and living off of previous success. The roster isn't as great as we think it is.

Kinda hard to be great when many of the players that make the roster great isn't even playing, no? CMC, Greenlaw, Aiyuk, Huff

I like Kyle and think he's a great coach for the most part. I agree with many that his in game adjustments aren't great. That's probably his biggest weakness.

I agree.
Very level headed post.
Actually I remember a few who commented they were glad 49ers quit running the ball.

I love our coach but he's got some flaws as all coaches do.

I still feel rotating & losing his staff to other teams has been the biggest obstacle tied with the injuries we incur.

So we can all agree that we've built an amazing roster. Can we all agree that we didn't have the best roster pre-Kyle?

if we can agree on those two ideas, I'm not sure how anyone would be so sold on the idea that we'd be better off without him. We'd more than likely lose our great roster and turn coaches over for the next decade.

I'm predicting New Orleans, where the rebuild won't be as bad.

I feel NO is the worst case. Cap hell, no franchise QB, cap hell next year too, Aging roster. Other than the food, New Orleans is not an attractive place right now.
