49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

This season would be much easier to stomach if we won the SB.

That's why you need to cash in when the opportunity arises. You never know how injuries etc will impact the next season.

And lost. The team lost the Super Bowls because of Shanahan's play calling in the third and fourth quarters. It's a pattern that comes up despite the roster changing.

The key is to remove 95% of the emotion from watching sports. Never get too high or too low. I've learned that the hard way over the years. In 30+ team leagues you will only see 3 championships on average in your life time per team/league. That's the statistical reality.

It's been a frustrating season for many reasons. Just gotta remember it's all entertainment. If it's not entertaining you it's best to not watch. I barely followed the team from 1998-2006 because of college and work. I caught the handful of playoff games, bit otherwise didn't really pay attention. In the long run it didn't really matter whether I watched or not - the team did what the team did, and that was that.

Either Shanahan will turn things around next year or he won't. I can't do anything about it either way, so why stress over it?

Okay what should have Kyle done differently?

Kyle wont be fired this season if they dont make the playoffs he has enough credit in the bank. No doubt his seat will be warm and 2 seasons in a row of not making it probably ends his tenure.

The O is very stale and thats totally on Kyle no deep down field threat very little creativity.

We all knew Shanahan wasn't the guy after choking in the postseason year after year. He's been propped up by a loaded roster and great OC talent. The dude is a fraud and only has a job because of his dad.

Sadly we were outcoached. This team will never be that healthy again. We our the modern day Bills with nothing to show

Today, yes, this was the main cultprit. Close losses like this are rough because when you leave so many plays on the field it just grinds you down.
