I just went back and looked at that play in slow motion - #91 had his hand in the air right in front of Purdy. If he had thrown it lower, it looked like it would be batted down. IDK If BP had tried to lead him, the chances of being blocked would be higher.

Maybe, if we don't run CMC up the middle twice and go down the field more than once we could have used more clock and scored more points.

Hmm on replay it looked like he his arm was already coming forward before the hand went up. My mistake

His playcalling on the last possession was...suspect.

Everybody in the stadium could see Seattle was stacking the box. As Greg Olson noted, a play-action pass was wide open for a first down, maybe a chunk play. Instead, he runs right into the teeth of a stacked box. There was no way that run was going to work but the personnel prevented an audible to a different play.

They did a play action on the very next play. Ideally you do it on 1st down instead, but he did call a pass instead of just running three times and forcing time outs by Seattle.

Running three times probably gets us OT instead, so who knows.

More than anything these games are being lost in the first half due to not getting enough points on drives that get to the opponents side of the field.

the people that gripe about KS being an OC and not a HC want another unproven OC.

I think the calls to fire KS are idiotic based on his body of work.

He has had a bad year this year no question though.
