This team is nowhere near a playoff team, and coaching on every side of the ball is a big part of it.

Seems like its been forever when we have seen a complete game from Offense, Defense, and Special teams. This the epitome of an average team.

Just look how bad this team looked coming off the bye week versus a TB team with no offensive talent and a short week. Not to mention getting back CMC. Tram still came out flat. Tells you everything about this team. They aren't well coached at any level this year. And let's not forget KS the GM that keeps running Brendal and Mckivitz out there.

I just went back and looked at that play in slow motion - #91 had his hand in the air right in front of Purdy. If he had thrown it lower, it looked like it would be batted down. IDK If BP had tried to lead him, the chances of being blocked would be higher.

Hmm on replay it looked like he his arm was already coming forward before the hand went up. My mistake

I'd like to hear your explanation as to why this loss isn't on Shanahan.

he sucks. i hate when ppl prop up a coordinator cuz he has great players. nolan looked good watching ray lewis do his thing. detroit has a ton of great o players. johnson doesn't do anything.

It was hard to tell for sure. The front of the pocket was being pushed back, preventing BP from stepping up.

We can dissect it all day but that part of the play shows why losing Aiyuk is so painful. BA created separation by forcing the DB back on his break. Deebo is not that precise so there is little separation.

Kyle is not coaching like he did when he first came to the 49ers or all the defenses have caught up with him. When he first came his offenses were putting up 30 or more points a game with Bethard and Hoyer and WR's that were virtually on their last years. It's a headscratcher for sure.

Exactly. We have more talent on offense so really don't understand the point of any of this. He would do wonders with our offense.

Put Purdy behind the Lions OL and he'd be pretty awesome.

Johnson is gonna be a HC next year but it won't be in SF.
