I don't know where I lie truthfully. I'm certainly France here but it does look he can't get over the hump dating back further than the 9ers. I can understand some of feelings. It just needs to be okay, 8 or 9 years in, is it time for a refresh. And don't kid yourself, a refresh might help him immensely. It may not be until his second stint to get there.

I have always said if he stays, assign a true OC but he will never allow that.

There should be frustration at a minimum no matter your side.

He won't allow anything, that's the problem and why he needs to go. This has been an ongoing issue and our weaknesses are never addressed.

St Brown kills zone coverage, Williams has too much speed vs man, Gibbs is electric, Montgomery is one of the most physical backs and it's probably the top OL in the game. if he becomes HC it's a lot more responsibility and probably a team without much talent, so he will struggle. Lions have crazy talent, it's not hard to coach those guys.

Maybe it's time to move on I mean the Eagles did it with Andy and also with Pederson. Lorie sure isn't afraid of putting them on the road and moving on.

49ers are in a weird spot.

How can you fire a HC who took you to three straight title games. SB included.

How can you continue keeping a guy who blows huge games?

He definitely isn't getting fired. But...what's the goal here. To keep trying what doesn't work in big game?

Or tear the whole thing down?

he sucks. i hate when ppl prop up a coordinator cuz he has great players. nolan looked good watching ray lewis do his thing. detroit has a ton of great o players. johnson doesn't do anything.

You are making yourself look stupid by saying he sucks. The offense is his. The play calls are his. Of course you have to have great players to succeed. That's true in all sports but there is no denying he is a smart young coach

Mason muffed a kickoff he had to punch out of bounds. Moody didn't have to kick more than 33 yards. The backup punter kicked a touchbacks which netted only 20 yards when we didn't go for it the drive before the last.

It was not good but not as bad as their track record I guess you could say.

i just hate when a guy holding a clipboard gets all the credit from fans. if you want to praise Detroit for some reason, i'd applaud whoever is make the personnel moves, which is not Johnson. how do you build a best in league OL, and maybe best WR room, RB room and credit the OC? some ppl don't know i guess..

It's been awhile since Jed York has fired a coach. but I'm sure he not happy about his investment in 2024 going up in flames. Hit the reset button fire Kyle Shanahan and throw a blank check with an agressive play caller in Ben Johnson. Dont let Jerry Jones get him first. Jed York need to make a big move in 2025.

we can bookmark and see how Johnson does. he's gonna suck as HC. many OCs with a ton of talent look good, then go to bad teams, without talent, and they suck.
