To be fair if you knot a homer you can get banned. I got a warning for being right about Lance being a bust lol salty mother f**kers

Mods will put you in timeout faster than yo momma. It's not that serious they are committed like this is a full time job lmao

Not Gore. He's openly allowed to break rules. Evidence is right in front of us.

The Webzone needs unbiased Moderators who don't show favoritism.

It shouldn't matter who you like and who you don't like. It shouldn't matter that I want Shanahan fired or that I supported Kap when he was kneeling.

I have been a fan my whole life. I went to the last Super Bowl.

The Moderators don't get to decide what our opinions are or how we think.

Their job is to uphold the forum rules. If they can't do that then they shouldn't be a moderator.

If I post legit opinions about something 49er related, it's my opinion and I'm allowed to do it.

What isn't allowed is the gluttony of name calling that has become a norm in this thread because supporters of Shanahan can't handle other members not liking the guy.

I'll raise you one

Why? Because the team stopped playing hard for him and it all started to fall apart. Now, a 100% straight line to success is not a requirement for a good coach, but what makes this team different is they are expensive and loaded with talent. They are not playing well, and that's coaching. Has Kyle worn out his welcome? Maybe.

So we have a coach that doesn't have his team and we have a GM who's paid large money to unproductive players. His actions will hurt this roster for this year and next, and it could get worse if they pay Brock what Lawrence got. Deebo, Hargreaves, Mcaffery's extension, Aiyuk. He owns these.

Getting rid of him isn't a guarantee to improved results. See Singletary. See Tomsula. See this year's defensive coordinator Sorensen. But it may be necessary.

who knows what the best option is, but ditching Kyle and John may be the necessary move. It's a shame dumping John would come after Peters left to Washington.

on the plus side, this years draft class look promising. We have a number of picks in this upcoming draft. We've paid the full price of another of Lynch's stupid decisions in Trey Lance.

You want to fire a coach a year removed from getting to the Superbowl because we might barely miss the playoffs in a year with a ton of injuries? Makes sense...

Coaches get fired all the time after choking in the playoffs year in and year out. This year, he doesn't have to even make it to the playoffs to mentally collapse.

I said Superbowl not playoffs.

I mean John Fox got fired by multiple teams after losing multiple super bowls. John Fox lost in the AFC divisional 3 outta 4 years for the broncos. It happens. Some coaches cant win the big ones in the playoffs. Kyle will just be another foot note of coaches we will forget at somepoint.

I wanna fire Kyle cause he's had 8 years here, 3 years with the best roster in football and he still can't close it out. But it doesn't matter what we all think. It matters what Jed thinks and Kyle is Jed's buddy. You shannistans get what you want, Kyle cemented here as our head coach. If he couldn't get it done last year with that roster, there's no way in hell he gets it done with anything less. This year is but a small glimpse of what we will get for the next couple of years with Kyle.

Its tough because I agree with the bolded, but I still hold out some hope. He needs a real mental reset while also cleaning out half his coaching staff this offseason with some fresh blood.

That in itself is the problem. We assume that he's capable of winning one because he "almost" did….thrice. But that's nothing more than false pretense. In the majority of his NFCC and Super Bowl losses, he had the better team, the more talented roster. He can't close the deal because he's not a good coach. An excellent offensive coordinator? Yes. But a coach ? Not even close.

Yeah back to getting tunnel-visioned with CMC and barely using either Mason or Guerendo.

Yep. What he needs is someone in his ear telling him to use a different RB or try something different. God forbid he has constructive criticism from another peer.

It was a little frustrating to see tbh since both, Mason and Issac have looked good when running the ball this season.

The problem is who is a closer? Who could you replace him with? Another OC or DC that would be a crapshoot like so many that fail? A college coach? He's still among the top 5 coaches in the league. Only one (Reid) has shown that he's really a step above the rest.

Yes I want Kyle Shanahan fired 1 year after making the Super Bowl.

Jcool I have a question for you…. Did you enjoy watching the 49ers dominate in the 80's and early 90's? Did you enjoy watching the 49ers close out games and finish? Did you enjoy watching them Win?

I surely did.

Watching Shanahan bumble through the 4th Quarter of every game he's ever coached with this team is maddening. The guy is absolutely a terrible first rate choke artist. His head is so far up his own ass.

Shanahan doesn't get a pass because of injuries. He sucks at his job and it's time to move on.

The team is stacked, we need a Coach that is good at coaching, knows the rules, knows how to play with 2 minutes remaining, finishes games, isn't afraid to run up the score and lets his QB call audibles.

And we shouldn't. Ppl assume that in the playoffs we'll become this new team with an offense/ defense in sync and an infallible STs. Or another that believes 'any given Sunday' so Lady Luck will carry us to a SB victory.

this team was exposed this year, and it's actually just an extension of what we saw starting vs GB in last year's playoffs. Except we had enough uninjured talent to carry us to the SB. This year with injuries, the truth comes out.

this team needs major changes. A playoff berth will only reinforce to that clown Kyle to continue to do more of the same. He needs a fire lit under his ass, and the embarrassment of the 2024-2025 season will hopefully lead to decreased revenue for the Yorks and force some changes…

John Fox got 7 more season after losing the Superbowl in Carolina and he only had two 10+ wins seasons in those 7 years.

Why can't he remain the HC and we obtain an OC that he can work with? I think he is stretched too thin and other aspects of the team lacking.
We have had some insane talent (more so when no injuries) as good as any in the league and to miss the SB twice is really messed up. It will never get better talent wise then what it was with the cap about to take a huge hit. I think he needs an OC to assist.

I am betting Carolina fans wished they moved on earlier

If it were to happen, and who knows next season, he may open up but it will come at the hands of Jed.

He's the problem though. He's shown that he's completely incapable of balancing his 2 most important jobs.

OC and HC. Everyone here knows that Kyle is a stuck up arrogant me first kind of guy.

There is no way in hell he allows anyone to strip him of his job.

So he has to get fired.
I don't think he should be fired, but he should definitely be on notice next year that expectations for change are a must. And that his seat is warm. As the same problems continue to plague this team with little to no adjustments.

I keep hearing "most talented roster" over and over with this team. I'm not so sure this is true or ever was. I think our roster has been overrated for years with highlight reel players and perennially bad offensive lines and secondary, and QB play (mostly jimmy).
