I wanna fire Kyle cause he's had 8 years here, 3 years with the best roster in football and he still can't close it out. But it doesn't matter what we all think. It matters what Jed thinks and Kyle is Jed's buddy. You shannistans get what you want, Kyle cemented here as our head coach. If he couldn't get it done last year with that roster, there's no way in hell he gets it done with anything less. This year is but a small glimpse of what we will get for the next couple of years with Kyle.

Its tough because I agree with the bolded, but I still hold out some hope. He needs a real mental reset while also cleaning out half his coaching staff this offseason with some fresh blood.

That in itself is the problem. We assume that he's capable of winning one because he "almost" did….thrice. But that's nothing more than false pretense. In the majority of his NFCC and Super Bowl losses, he had the better team, the more talented roster. He can't close the deal because he's not a good coach. An excellent offensive coordinator? Yes. But a coach ? Not even close.

The problem is who is a closer? Who could you replace him with? Another OC or DC that would be a crapshoot like so many that fail? A college coach? He's still among the top 5 coaches in the league. Only one (Reid) has shown that he's really a step above the rest.

He's the problem though. He's shown that he's completely incapable of balancing his 2 most important jobs.

OC and HC. Everyone here knows that Kyle is a stuck up arrogant me first kind of guy.

There is no way in hell he allows anyone to strip him of his job.

So he has to get fired.

You forgot to add GM which adds even more responsibilties and in which he needs to relinquish. Lynch is just a PR figurehead imo. Kyle has WAY too much on his plate.

We are now in that Andy Reid Philly era with Shanny.

Knowing our luck he will go to the Cowboys or something and pull off 4 Superbowl Victories.

Irrelevant and not the reason to keep him. He's obviously not winning one here…
Kyle's never winning a SB. I don't care where he goes.

what makes anyone beleive that he is capeable of self reflection and change?

My guess is the Broncos

he just needs to watch the Lions to realize how outdated his philosophy has become

This
Fire Kyle since he is Andy Reid. Time to find our savior Nick Foles backup.

Execution has been awful and while the players gotta own up to that, coaching has to try and correct that s**t. It's week 11.

I felt like once again they had back breaking early down penalties that basically ended series because they can't pass the ball.

I love Kyle but he's gotta take a look in the mirror and own up to this slop fest. Can't defend what I watched yesterday.

Agree. We overcame penalties last year, but we can't anymore.

Kyle is running a different offense this year but the changes he's made have made it a way worse version..

He's stuck and we're basically screwed.
Demote Kyle to OC, hire Saleh, bring in Deion for HC

i was listening this morning to The Game, and they gush over how fast Gibbs is, how fast Williams is. it's not philosophy in Detroit, it's they have really good players. and a lot more team speed. our WRs are built to run block or run in the case of Deebo. but ppl want to look at superior Detroit players running laps on a Jags team that has quit and say oh wow this Ben Johnson sure is waving his magic wand. no dude.. he is so overrated. i compliment the personnel moves in Detroit. it's easy when you have best in league OL and off the charts skill guys.

Forget about the playcalling. The guy is just way too conservative. He never, ever, makes a Dan Campbell-like 4th down call.

The first drive of the game, 4th and less than 1 yard. YOU GO FOR IT there. It doesn't matter that it's the first drive. When it's less than 1 yard the chances of picking up the first down are so exponentially high that you have to go for it.

How about the 4th and 6 from the Seattle 42 yard line? Why not go for it there and just end the game. You know you are without Bosa. Just get a 1st down and ice the game away. If you don't get it, you they still have to go 58 yards. The punter ended up kicking it into the end zone which was another laughable mistake by the ST unit given they didn't even have a return man back. He will never take a risk on offense and always puts the pressure on the defense to finish the game.

Kyle never has the situations thought through. I was dying when he didn't go for it on 4th and 6. You have a punter off the street that's not going to pin them, you have no Bosa so you're just giving them a longer drive and leaving us with less time for the tying fg. Just no feel for the situation. He's unbelievably bad

he didn't go for it there cuz he didn't trust jimmy in that spot.
