The discussion is toxic because the reality is too much for some to accept. Kyle built a good team and innovated the offense for a while. We enjoyed some post season success but then something happened. His offense stopped working and his team started to lose discipline. His past continues to haunt him rather than shape much needed adjustments. The team is not playing to their potential. They lack energy. They look broken because they are broken. Teams are feasting on his predictability. Yesterday's s**tshow was hard to watch but maybe it will draw some attention to the fact that change is needed. There were warning signs of a major problem brewing last year. Wins provide cover and can be deceptive. We almost got bounced out of the playoffs by Green Bay and Detroit. We got lucky in both games. That luck has run out.

There's a ton to discuss like this

the folks crying about audibles or whatever are missing what's really the issue because they don't know what they're talking about (or don't know what to complain about).

It ain't about audibles or Brock for that matter it's about the entire approach and the teams inability to play up to their individual and collective potential. It's a mess.

No one is taking credit away from Kyle for building this team. But that doesn't mean he gets a pass indefinitely for his inability to fulfill what he was hired for. He's maxed out. Last year was basically his ceiling. Minimal injuries. Star studded team. Home field advantage achieved by week 16. Plenty of time to gear up and finish the job. Instead we stumbled our way through the playoffs and KC put us out of our misery.

He's never going to beat that. That's glaringly apparent. Time to move on and find someone that can finish the job…

You and I will never agree and your distain for Kyle makes any discussion unbearable. The bias makes any points crap.

I will agree Kyle has hit a wall and needs to figure s**t out. That was bad football top to bottom.

he's never had great passing concepts. It's always been about the OZ and using play action off of that. Now half the league does it and defenses are learning how it play it. He's trying to adapt, but that s**t takes time and more than likely different players with different skill sets.

KC barely won their games in the playoffs. Saying SF stumbled their way though but not them is being hypocritical. Winning that much is f**king rough. Long ass seasons take a toll.

It's crazy that missing the best blocking TE impacted us yesterday, but let's pile on Shanny. I can't really drag CMC. Dude is literally trying to get back into football shape, timing and rhythm.

I thought I was trippin' when saw the Niners bring in an extra OL yesterday. Is that the first time they've done it multiple times in a game this year?

I agree it's a mess. It's not consistent that's a player and coaching issue. It's not like this has been a normal thing since Kyle got here. Very weird

KC won the Super Bowl. Back to back might I add. And 3 in five years. The way they played to get to the top is meaningless because they actually achieved the ultimate goal…several times.

Kyle's had multiple stabs at it. And each time he's been given an upgraded roster. The latest iteration had probowl talent at every level including the offensive player of the year and an MVP candidate at QB. An all pro at left tackle. The best TE in the league. Top 5 WR duo in the league. And a defense which features Bosa and Warner.

THAT team vs arguably the worst iteration of the Chiefs in their SB window and Kyle still LOST.

time to move on

Shany wouldn't even want a high end talent at QB.

Mahomes - Too much off schedule. He wouldn't want that.

Allen - Too much arm strength. He doesn't want 80 yard bombs.

Rodgers - Too much experience. No audibles. LOL. That would be a fight the first week.

Lamar - Too fast running around. Too much off schedule.

He would literally trade away or not pick those players. He literally did not pick Mahomes for that and perhaps other reasons.

This is not a knock on Purdy. Who plays way above his head and draft status. He's a good or really good QB. But not a super elite talent. It's a criticism of Shany. So don't take it the wrong way.

But that's really how dumb Shany is. Which is why he needs to be kicked out of town. You can never win with him. If you gave him the perfect QB he would trade it away. He wants somebody submissive who will run his STUPID plays. Purdy is very young and a good kid which is why he doesn't question him. But make no mistake it's not an accident Shany looks for that. Again no criticism to Purdy. Who more likely saves Shany than the other way around. It's about Shany being as stupid as he is.

Instead of going with 4-5 receiver sets and opening up the field, Kyle decided to stick with the play book and replace Kittle with another offensive lineman.

And ppl want this clown back

You did say arguably, but I don't know man. They had the worst offense of their SB teams but definitely their best defense. And they went through a very tough field in the postseason to win.

Our best team was in '22 IMO… where we had an elite offense and defense

I can't speak on all of these guys, but Shanny literally said the team had their eyes on Josh Allen leading up to the 2017 draft. 🤡

He would never want that. Too much arm strength, too much running around and too much standing up to the coach. He wants a young submissive QB who won't question too much. Plus run his DORK and DUNK offense.

We spent 3 first round picks on the hopes of getting a guy just like this. It was a miserable failure obviously, but Kyle wants this kind of player just like every other coach.

They are unicorns. Extremely hard to find. Darnold isn't even close either.

We spent 3 first round picks on a CLOWN. Kyle is responsible too.

Yes, but you're missing the obvious point of course. We were looking for an elite talent at the position. The thing you say Shanny doesn't want (simply because he hasn't had one yet)
