Yes, but you're missing the obvious point of course. We were looking for an elite talent at the position. The thing you say Shanny doesn't want (simply because he hasn't had one yet)

Kyle can't pick them to save his life. He had a top 3 pick on his team with a rocket arm and prototype size. 6'3 -1/2" 225 lbs. Sam Darnold. 1 - 3 overall in the draft. He couldn't do jack with him. O'Connell turned him into an instant star in 1 year! Kyle is clueless and useless. So overrated. O'Connell is more QB whisperer than Shany. It's not even close.

Were you expecting Kyle to start Darnold over Purdy? I can just picture you having a s**t fit over such a silly idea last year.

lol @ thinking Darnold is a star. Good lord.

This is by far the best he ever played. He's throwing rockets down the field. Even did against us too. He doesn't want a QB who is big, strong and with a big arm. He wants somebody to run his DINK and DUCK offense and don't ask too many uncomfortable questions. Like why can't we audible at the line of scrimmage?

Of course you do.

The writer basically deflects all blame from Shanahan onto the top players (Purdy / Warner).

He's the same guy that argued against picking Nick Bosa and guaranteed everyone in the draft forum that whoever drafted Quinnen Williams would go to the Superbowl--ironically, the 49ers went to the SB that year after pick Bosa. He should have a 🤡 next to his screen name.

3 1st round picks and change says otherwise. It just didn't work because again… these kinds of elite QBs are unicorns. Teams go decades without having one.

I'm done wasting my time with you.
How can we get Devondre Campbell off the field. That should be the only thing anyone is concerned with at this point. He has 4.9 speed at this point and it is devastating to the team.

Quinnen did turn out to be a beast. He's just stuck on a very bad team. For now at least.

the folks crying about audibles or whatever are missing what's really the issue because they don't know what they're talking about (or don't know what to complain about).

It's crazy that missing the best blocking TE impacted us yesterday, but let's pile on Shanny. I can't really drag CMC. Dude is literally trying to get back into football shape, timing and rhythm.

I thought I was trippin' when saw the Niners bring in an extra OL yesterday. Is that the first time they've done it multiple times in a game this year?

Yeah I don't remember seeing that before. Shows how important the TE position is for this team. They tried signing Wright for a reason. He's been at the very least a capable blocking and receiving TE in DET.

Instead of going with 4-5 receiver sets and opening up the field, Kyle decided to stick with the play book and replace Kittle with another offensive lineman.

And ppl want this clown back

Dumbest "genius" ever

If you're using Sam darnold to bolster your argument you probably already lost

Why can O'Connell get this much out of him? But Shany can't get anything out of him. It's interesting.

Kyle should know by now that kittle will likely be out a few games every year and to continue to game plan around that player without having a back up plan or adequate replacement personnel is on Kyle. His iintricate, complicated offense has no margin for error or personnel changes. Kyle also does not care for playing the hot hand. He was forced to play JJ and Mason even though both have earned more playing time. How many carries did Mason get yesterday? If Yuk was healthy JJ would still be number 3. How many attempts did Ricky get yesterday? 0. This team has loads of talent that spends more time on the sidelines than on the field. Not counting injuries. The more I think about it the more I can't wait for Kyle to take his s**t show to another town. Go to dallas , go to New York. s**t just go.

So now you are advocating they should have been starting darnold over your Brock star ? too funny, but par for the course

Jaylon Moore was motioning as a TE.
