He struggles when it matters most because he has to much on the brain.

It's widely known that he's a well respected Offensive coach that struggles finishing games.

All of those games you mentioned he failed to finish when he had the lead.

Why's that NYNiner85?

It's all been explained ad nauseam….talking about all of it again and again isn't gonna magically change your perspective, so what's the point?

why hasn't Tomlin won a SB in over 15 yrs? Why hasn't John Harbs won one in over a decade? Why did it take Reid over 20 yrs? Why did Jim Harbs "choke" when he had his opportunity? lafleur can't get past Kyle, even with a 2x MVP at QB. Sean Payton has one ring in 18 yrs as a HC and 90% of that was with a first ballot HOF QB. You think Mcvay is gonna win a SB this yr?

ya'll act like winning is some easy thing…that there's isn't a f**k ton of luck that's involved with all of it (guess what there is). IF Kyle was 1-1 instead of 0-2 in SBs, you all would be saying he's untouchable, right? So one game changes your whole debate on what Kyle is? Think about that for one sec…

Why is Ben Johnson gonna be any better? His only shot at winning something was last yr and his team had one of the worst meltdowns in playoff history….against kyle.

Anyone you replace Kyle with has to be better than Kyle and there hasn't been much of anyone that has been since he got here….he was #2 last yr. Last I checked Reid ain't leaving and he'd better be bringing Mahomes with him BECAUSE it's been a s**t ton of "choking" from him until PM got there.
So if Ben Johnson was responsible for the Lions meltdown in the NFC Championship game last year then doesn't that make Kyle responsible for the Falcons meltdown in the SB?

And if so that would make him 0-3 in Superbowls right?

All the folks that want Ben and s**t on Kyle bring up his "choking" in the ATL game SO why stop there? Let's talk about Ben Johnson being up 24-7 at halftime and only scoring 7pts and that was with 3 mins left in the game?

Can't have it both ways

Everyone besides one team is a loser every yr….one day you will figure that out. You don't win everything you do every single time. Therefore you are loser

i don't wonder about that. we got beat.
Due to some ref influence

Will blame the refs.
Won't blame the head coach.

wow

Tell me are you allowed to call two timeouts in a row?

There was Absalom from the Bible, long hair can really leave you hanging, quite literally haha.

Look at that, some actual football content. Thanks for this!

For the record I don't want Ben Johnson.

I want a coach who has ample HC experience.

That should have resulted in a 1st down for us, correct?

Great stuff. For those too lazy to watch, they play a clip from Kyle where he says he's in the middle between throwing hot versus adjusting protections. Right now though, we don't really work on the latter because it's more time consuming.

Nguyen talks about how our approach has still worked more often than, but now that it's starting to get attacked more often, we might see Kyle add this more to Brock's plate so we can be prepared for every scenario.

To me, it would be one of the next things in his development as a QB that could take this offense to another level.

Resulted in 4th and 2 and Kyle said it would have either resulted in a FG attempt or going for it. He would not have punted in that position.

also imo JSN wasn't in when he caught that ball.

No you're not. I'm not saying refs are infallible, but to me the more concerning stat is:

118th out of 125. That's damning.
Not sure why that doesn't irk some of you

No one is saying it doesn't. Not one single fan.

also instead of tossing out obscure stats, can we see the full list and see the overall percentage of what's what? I don't need regurgitated Grant Cohn takes that always lack the full picture.

Qb play in those barn burner games matter. That's what the cream rises to the top and unfortunately we have never had that elite guy behind center. Maybe Brock will be one day, but he's still learning.

FWIW he's got a 8-4 record in the playoffs.

I was about to say something similar. And yes it doesn't tell the whole picture. My point was when I replied to such a idiotic post, was that it was perfectly legit to blame the ref. Every f**kin post he has he wants to say something stupid about Kyle Shanahan in it. I'm perfectly convinced now, Kyle f**ked his mom, girlfriend, sister and his best friends mom, why else would he post so much nonsense about him!!!

If we have to rely on a single ref call to win a game we have greater issues. How bout we get better on offense and score more points. The ref whining each week is insane.

Who says we have to rely on calls, we're talking about the fact that a back to back timeout was allowed. Aren't you whining all the same coming in here whining about scoring more points?
