Depends how the seasons look. If we have 5 more losing seasons then that would be a year or 2 longer than I would wanna give. But I would like my franchise to be more like the Steelers as far as stability at coaching and less like the Giants, Jaguars and Bears.

This. It all depends on how we look. Many like to criticize Tomlin but his teams never bottom out. He has some low periods (the 8 win seasons) abd the Steelers just weather the storm until they can reload, which they appear to be doing again.

So long as we don't look awful, players checked out, etc, aren't bottoming out, you ride with Kyle.

Hoping for more of a change in our team building philosophy and use of special teams. After that, hope we use all 46 men on the game day roster. Our holes are obvious. Fix that and we are back in the mix.

All they have at this point is Hope. Hope in a guy that has proven 1 thing in 8 years. He can't Win the biggest games.

The Bill Bilacheck argument is laughable.

The same can be said for Bill Walsh without Joe Cool.

If Bill Walsh was available and Montana was retired, I'm willing to bet my life that all of the Shanafans would be lined up in droves to hire the guy.

That is true and he never won without Montana. It would be much harder. So we will never know. But teams would still hire him in an instant.
