The key difference being there's at least evidence to support his opinion

There's no evidence to suggest Kyle might hang them up this year, or anytime soon. People are guessing this could be a possibility because of his appearance and the fact that the* team is uncharacteristically struggling, lol.

Winning cures all. Kyle shouldn't get fired yet. Give him the benefit of a bad season. If the ship doesn't get righted next year it's time to part ways.
5k and we may have done jumped the shark here

I have thought the same thing. He may retire and get away for a while then come back refreshed. He looks burn out.

yep. good point
Looks like there is no more mojo left in Kyle. He had his shot to win the big one multiple times and squandered it.

now he is just a broken down coach with no creativity and everyone knows how to defeat his game plans.

if we got 1 Super Bowl out of it, it would of felt worth it, but now it just feels like a big disappointment.

Kyle's thing is everything bad that happens on a Sunday has nothing to do with him, but yet everything good is all on him.

yup. ppl don't consider the psychology of it. he built it up. now we are on the downswing. and everyone knows it. it's not about 'is he a good coach'. it's about is he burnt out? does he have the energy to reboot this thing over a handful of years? would that even work? with how stagnant we are, i was open to a fresh set of eyes last offseason, if those eyes were Belichick.

I think you guys are reading your own fantasies into the situation. Kyle wants to be a HC for another 20+ years. He decided that a long, long time ago. He's not gonna retire in his mid-40s.

He'll have an extra month to reflect upon this past season this offseason. Knowing Kyle he won't want to stand pat. Shanahan has always made bold moves to overcome what he saw as flaws and inefficiencies. Expect some huge personnel and staff overhauls this offseason.

One could argue you're doing the same thing.

Not at all

He's only fired one assistant coach that i know of and that was Wilkes, the rest were offered jobs elsewhere.

Not really. We don't know what's going to happen.

We don't know what's going to happen, but we have evidence to help guide any prediction.

again, there is zero evidence to suggest Kyle could retire this year or any time soon.

You don't have evidence. You have your opinion.
