Do people really think Kyle will be fired? What is the logic behind that thinking?
kyles not going anywhere right now. his success in the first 7 years here has bought him some time. we could lose out the rest of the season an it wouldnt affect his job next year. now that we know that if he goes into next year without making changes to the roster an staff an strategy we are f**ked long term and will only keep continuing to be the best team at coming in 2nd or 3rd place.if it comes to that hopefully the York's move on quickly. he is a very smart coach but needs help with HC decisions. he knows the game but his overconfidence in himself and his trash offensive lines have cost him multiple trophies. he needs to accept change.

He gets one more year and if the team doesn't perform then he needs to be gone. I'm ready to move off him rn but I know that's not realistic.

Realistically, Jed's not eating the 14mil a year for Kyle. So Kyle definitely is back next season.

ready to move off of being a top team? that is pretty unrealistic

He's not....there was a point nearly a decade ago when Jed was paying 3 different HC's to stay home at the same time.
Anyone calling for Kyle's job based on performance alone is a fool. You people need to get your little boy emotions in check.
How tf did our teams in the 90s never get hurt? I mean at worst I remember Young missed some games but we literally had a starting caliber, Pro Bowl QB In Grbac behind him (Elvis went to a Pro Bowl with KC).

Outside of his rookie year, Kyle has been a perennial playoff contender every time his team wasn't crazy injured.

Outside of that, we've only sucked when we've been decimated by injury: 2018 (Jimmy to IR), 2020 (16 players on IR), and this year (19 players on IR/PUP or missed 3+ games). I mean let's be honest.. I don't care how smart or how good you are, you aren't overcoming an injury list this massive. The more I think about this, the more I realize we are probably doing way better than the odds would say we should be.

imagine losing your future starter, past starter and making it to a NFCCG with the last pick in the draft all in the same year.. but Kyle is the problem ?

i like to see how many HCs can do that

next year with no injuries, 49ers are back being contenders again and all those calling for Kyle's firing looks silly.

Its all wish-casting

I'll attempt to be rational here.

I expect ST and DC gone. In fact most of the DC staff should be gone and let a new DC bring in his people? Dont demand a scheme, just find a good coach who will get the most out of our talent on defense. Something to that effect. I think the OL guy sucks. Hire new blood and ideas on the offense in a way that helps Kyle.

I keep coming back to this point week after week, we do not dominate the trenches at all anymore. It all starts from there, so they need to reinvest in the trenches as a priority. They have plenty of players to build around. While it's disheartening to see the drop off, they can turn it around, but it is asking for a lot of things to work out and fall into place rather quickly.
