Yes he does need to accept change he needs to see he needs help in decision making too many YES Men surrounding him, Team is playing how they practice- sloppy, undisciplined, and very little confidence, where has the creativity gone.... I think firing Kyle is NOT the answer, but there need to be a sit down talk with him by Lynch and Jed and air it out behind closed doors.

I still believe in Kyle long term. There's not much to be excited about the remainder of this season. So many decisions have to be made. Here's what I would do and this is why I'm not on a coaching staff:

1) Tank rest of season because let's be honest, even if we finish 9-8 and somehow make the playoffs we ain't winning sh*t. Pray we can package our first and some other picks for Travis Hunter! Jk I know thats a pipe dream but you never know.

2) Probably not pay Brock that huge contract. I don't think he will magically be better than this the rest of his career. This was a career defining season and his chance to silence the doubters. He hasn't done that and honestly hasn't looked that great this year. Certainly not enough to warrant 60 mil. I know the market and process will dictate the Niners paying him, but I wish they wouldn't.

3) Time to offload Deebo. Hes actually in "man he sucks" territory. Just going through the motions. This may not be his fault because our offense is bland and predictable. Either way offload his contract and move on

4) I'm not sure who's due for what on D, but is it possible to dump Hargraves contract as well? Dude had a few good games but not enough to warrant that contract. Especially after a season ending injury and he's old

5) Kyle I know you're listening...you need help on O. Look at what Kellan Moore has done for Siriani in Philly. Siriani sucks but looks really competent with good coordinators. Fangio and Moore are basically running the show over there. Get a good offensive coordinator for next season

Those are my thoughts for next season. Also probably dump Soreinbutt and that special teams guy too
Losing 2 super bowls is enough to break a man
Listen I'm pro-Kyle and they weren't winning this game regardless. BUT my god Kyle needs to take a look in the mirror and understand what he's been doing isn't gonna cut it going forward.

Ah, finally some chinks in the armor. Let this feeling grow my friend. You'll eventually come to the conclusion that there is no mirror. There never was. There is an aura of arrogance around Kyle Shanahan. He'll never admit to his mistakes.

Instead he requires a robot QB like Brandon Allen who he can run the same Brock Purdy plays for.
Because Kyle is stubborn, his ego won't let him... he has become a victim of his own clippings just like he won't let Purdy option out of protection at the line and see things the way Purdy sees them at the last second oh yeah Kyle said well Purdy has 3 plays he can use if he needs to change things at the line! Kyle has a micro-management complex which is a weakness, there needs to be some checks and balances in place and right now there aren't any looking at you John Lynch

Shanahan does see Dobbs every day in practice. And he thought Allen could manage his offense and not change too much of the offense. But what he should've done was put Dobbs in at the middle of the 3rd quarter. Jaylon Moore and Jake Brendel didn't make it any easier on Allen either.

You missed the OPs point entirely

Because he doesn't want to state the obvious. Kyle doesn't like change. He's not about to "evolve" an offensive scheme he deems perfect. Why go through the hassle of changing the playbook to cater to Dobbs strengths, when you have Brock Purdy lite sitting on the bench. Someone that will do your bidding to a T. And that's what happened. Instead of bringing out an offensive scheme with some wrinkles and surprise plays, it was the same stale offense.

I swear fans and pundits have more imagination than Kyle. I was reading on different news sites about possibly putting Mason and CMC in at the same time so to confuse the defense. Or using Dobbs occasionally to change the offensive scheme.

None of that. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Kyle went with the same exact playbook he has all season. The playbook that has gotten the team to 5-5 and now 5-6.

Its gross. The clown needs to go ASAP.

Amen DrEll on everything you nailed it all except the firing part

Deebo is done. I said it before the season started (and I've been a massive Deebo fan, he's the vibe of the team. He's playing like s**t and the rest of the team feeds off that)…it was one of the reasons I was so pro-pay BA. He's legit the only dude that can get separation. He's our only downfield WR, can play every position and is young….people were too caught up in their feelings to understand this.

Tough yr for BA on multiple levels. We desperately need him to get back to 100%. I think he will.

I'm with you on not paying Brock (paying him $250M). I think he's had his zenith point already. That's not to say he's not gonna continue to be a good starting QB. I just don't believe he's gonna ever be one of those top dogs. He simply doesn't have the tangibles attributes. Not his fault. He's more Baker Mayfield than Allen/mahomes/burrow/jackson/herbert. When giving out all that cash, you gotta be confident that they can elevate a less talented roster. Maybe he can, I'm not super optimistic there though.

Kinda disagree about Hargraves, he was actually our best interior pass rusher and the metrics backed that up before he got hurt. Dude was consistent with the pressure. He's never been a good run defender, that's the trade off. Highly doubt he goes anywhere because of $, his play and the fact that we're thin there.

Siriani has never been the play caller there from my understanding. Reports show he literally does nothing. I don't think he was responsible for hiring either guy. That GM runs the show there…but I get your point. Kyle has always had run/pass game coaches that help build the game plan, literally those dudes have gotten poached every damn yr to be OC/HCs. s**t has taken a toll there.

Honestly I'm over coach Chris Forrester, he's also the run game coordinator. I know he had the title last yr, but I'll bet money Anthony Lynn had a big say in all that as well. His philosophy of not valuing OL and talent there is insane.

Lynch and Kyle aren't gonna tank. They also aren't gonna win a ton more games. The schedule this yr has been horrendous. They can still win the NFCW some how.

Bering back Saleh or go get Ulbrich. Sorensen isn't a DC. There's no fire there. We need to revamp the DL and build up the OL. We need LBers that can cover and tackle. We need WRs that can separate with some sort of speed. Kyle HAS to be better or some folks might get their wish in a yr or two.

I mean what has Burrow, Herbert, Allen actually done?

You can say that about most other QBs in the league except Mahomes. If we judge a QBs merits off of SB wins, then they all suck and haven't done anything.

What Allen, Jackson, Herbert's, and Burrow doo doo is elevate the players around them. Especially Allen and Jackson. They're really good QBs that are worth 60 mil. Not Brock tho and I love the guy as a person. He ain't scampering for a 40 yard game ending TD to beat the Chiefs

I mean if we're gonna play that game, then nick foles is better than all of them

anyone who's objective can understand what those dudes being to the table and it put them in the correct position would be dominant. I mean they already are elite at playing the position with high ass ceilings.

I really don't like how he just uses CMC 95% of the time. WTF is the reason for that especially when he knows CMC hasn't played any football at all this off season. Also why TF didn't he put in Dobbs any time in the second half, Allen just wasn't cutting it!!!!! I believe in Kyle but C'mon man your offense is stalling, lets make some damn changes somewhere!!!!

We all love Brock and think he's a quality starter in the league. He should get paid and I'm happy he's our guy. He shouldn't be one of the highest paid players in the NFL. Yes that's not his fault because of the position he plays but that also doesn't mean SF has to bend over and take it just because.

I'd much prefer a Mayfield type deal or let him play out his contract and resign/tag.

Brock's "super power" is suppose to be processing and anticipation. IMO it hasn't been as consistent this yr for whatever reason. This team was tossing up 30 per game and wasn't really playing from behind much last yr….This yr injuries and bad D hasn't allowed for things to be "easy" you want your $200M QB to bridge the gap and take games over. He's not that type of guy and that's okay. Those types of QBs don't fall out of trees.

And IF they're gonna pay him that type of cash, they gotta rethink the offense. Look at the lions. They got two monster RBs and a OL that's gonna crush defenses. Goff is a timing/rhythm passer. It's a f**k ton of play-action. He's not gonna run for a game winning 40 yard TD and that's okay. We gotta build the offense to what works best for our QB and right now what we're watch ain't it.

They have a perfect opportunity to have a two headed monster running game. Much like DET does. Use that s**t! Get them both on the field at the same time. Get Issac involved a little. Use that speed on those OZ runs.

I mean whatever with this game. I didn't expect much from the offense without Trent and Brock. The constant penalties continue to kill this team. There's no groove like last yr. The running game is nonexistent and when that happens the offense is toast.

people look at DET and want that (that was who SF was last yr). Everything is based off the running game.

The defense is a joke. They have to be one of the worst 3rd down defenses in football. 12 men all the field two plays in a row? That's f**king pathetic. I don't even know how many missed tackles they had but that's a constant as well.
