I'm sure Kyle will do a lot of film analysis and soul searching after the season. We'll probably see some coaching changes and player changes. This team as it now is can't compete. Even if they get everyone back healthy next season they need to start shedding some older players and salary. Younger teams are now the power so it's up to the 49ers to adapt.

Kyle should try to come up with some new wrinkles for the offense since it's now common in the league and teams know how to defend it. He loves a strong running game but the O line isn't good enough to dominate the line of scrimmage. If Williams retires they're only going to get worse. The draft isn't expected to be a strong one so free agency may be a big factor. Lot's of work to do in the off season.

what did kyle do after the sb 58 loss?

hire sorenson, get staley in the bldg, do nothing on OL, do nothing on backup QB except for Dobbs who is so bad, he's QB3 and on it goes. major issue with CMC we do nothing to add a FA who can catch out of the backfield. so there was a lot of work to do last offseason and we didn't do it.
False

the whole thing was true, now we stack 2 offseasons of work cuz we didn't handle last offseason
False

so you like sorenson, you like staley, you like the OL, you like Dobbs/Allen, etc? you just gonna type false every time aren't you?

Get used to Kyle being here, haters

Every time the team has not been crazy hurt, Kyle has led the team to a championship game or Super Bowl.

The only thing that has ever stopped Kyle from ultimately having success has been when his team is decimated with injuries. If you're wishing him to fail, you're really almost just wishing for injuries.

I believe we will bounce back and find a way to remain contenders in the future if we can be healthier going forward.

I think it's more about an over-reliance to retain and pay for older pro bowl skill players due to poor drafting and FA additions and/or not integrating these players to provide fresh bursts and development opportunities.

It's a vicious cycle, but teams like the Ravens and Chiefs know how to do this extremely well.

I think Kyle can potentially pull it together if he makes foundational changes in the offseason. But if he retains DC, ST coordinators and runs back the same poor OL again, then i would seriously question Kyle vs brining in Ben Johnson to run the show.

Completely agree with all the above. If he cannot recognize they all need to be replaced, including most of the OL guys -- not just the starters but the depth too -- then absolutely we should question him then. But Johnson would be gone by then though.

i wonder all this talk here, what if we traded kyle. he has value so maybe we flip him for 2 ones and we control his destination. just a thought. maybe trade him to cleveland, for example

Tomsula era all over again

Hire who?

Do you think Saleh is a realistic option? I mentioned earlier bringing in a new dc and let him fill out his staff.

say jed makes the determination to move on. there is a lot of contract remaining and kyle can sign with dallas or some rival. so you would want to trade kyle if at all possible. i see other fan bases already licking their chops such as chicago

Yeah, I mean he's gonna be a HC next year and there's absolutely zero chance Kyle isn't our HC next season, so no point in talking about him.

Saleh would be here already instead of being with the packers

great DCs don't hit the market, unless they were a HC that got fired
if you pull the posts, i said in february that jed needs to have a come to you know what sit down with Shanny and really get some changes around here. instead we had a weak offseason, with a poor DC move, and trying to run it back we spent like 10 weeks trotting out Deebo who should be kick return man only. O can't run the ball anymore everyone has figured out our stuff. i suspected this team would struggle if we just ran it back, last year all the breaks and health was on our side. not gonna be like that in most seasons.

I mean you can always say one thing and there's a chance it could be true in football, what you didn't know is the holdouts and the amount of injuries was the true reason to wipe the season out

control what you can control. why did we hire sorenson? that was under our control. where is cowing? why can't former WR shanny get him integrated into O snaps? where is Mason? why doesn't he rotate more with CMC, with McCaffrey clearly struggling? and on it goes. a lot of nonsense we can control and we are messing up, big time. why did we add Dobbs?, he doesn't even play with brock out

post by your own posts (B/U)

Who would have we hired, Sorenson had the experience by being here. Saleh wasn't the way he was at first and Meco was also here since 2017. Who know what Sorenson can do later.

Cowing is coming off a concussion, maybe he was held back to limit further injury

We couldn't get an establish run game to work in Mason. No one is going to bench CMC

Dobbs isn't the guy you think he is

That's certainly a strong possibility too.
