Kyle is so cocky; he outsmarts himself time and again.
We need someone there to take the process out of Kyle's hands when he tries to implode.
A second set of eyes.
Yeah like fire him and get a new and better coach. I agree.

This is undoubtedly Kyle's worst season as a Niner HC, no excuses. Zero creativity, completely predictable, epic collapses, just an all-around s**t show. That being said, I still believe in him going forward, provided he shows an ability to re-tool his coaching methods and gameplan and as I say, get Kyle some help.
Even if that help simply says "Are you sure Kyle? why not try this" in the usual epic 4th quarter melt down.

No spam. Shana_LOSER just sucks. That's the problem. Lots of people believe this who aren't brainwashed Shana_FANS.

Simple fact is Jed York is not going to fire Kyle Shanahan after going to overtime in the Super Bowl and then this year having a roster decimated by injuries, all these deep home playoff runs has bought Kyle and John quite a bit of leeway most likely given the amount of money they brought in for the 49er ownership, after all this is a business
Also, it's on the players as well.
You don't kick out this kind of culture after a rough year, or just because some big problems have been identified.
When in fact this is one of the best locker rooms in all of sports. We're 100% going to see how the vets and this staff respond next year.
We have the worst or 2nd worst YAC percentage and separation numbers in the league.
Kyle continues to stick to the run (we have the one of lowest early down pass rates in the league), even when it isn't effective.
We have had the worst special teams in the league for a while and at some point, that falls on Kyle.

Kyle shouldn't be fired. He should grow.
His coaching style has produced some awesome games, and the 49ers have been one of the best football teams under him.
What irks me about him is his refusal to change.
We get it Kyle, you are a cocky SOB, you have a system that works, but now it doesn't. Different QB, the league has caught on. You need to adapt and we're here for that.
I'm rooting for him to with the SB not for us but for him, but for his growth as a coach. Yes, it's a bad season but it's not all on him. Just the major part. Players are demotivated. Anyone who has anything to prove already has but isn't getting the recognition.
Honestly each person on the team needs to grow and that's just a part of being a successful franchise. Which the 49ers already are, even after the Green Bay Packers shellacking,
No one has said the niners are a bad team. I do think that Kyle needs to look inward and find the motivation again, he will come out with schemes that will again force the teams around the league to introspectively again adjust.
He needs to get over his 4th quarter demons and take a breather. Run the ball when needed, put a nail in the coffin when needed. Thus he needs someone to help him on offense. A new fresh set of ideas from a high IQ offensive minded guy.
If Kyle recognizes that and pushes past that, he is going to go down in history. Take this season to work on your mental state. We're always a good football team. Bang Bang.
We are a team.

Ronnie throwing too much common sense around, the bots no like that.
He's right though, this has been Kyle's worst season. He did more with less in his first two seasons even if we end up with more wins this year. I've said a few times that Sorenson just throws players out there and expects to win with talent but I wouldn't disagree that maybe Kyle is guilty of the same thing.
The key for him next off season is getting the right staff around him and fixing those trenches so we can execute both sides of the ball the way we should. That could make or break his time here.

Any chance you could take some time off? A couple of you dudes single handedly f**king this whole forum up. Your opinion matters, I'm certainly not discrediting it.

You could hire former 49ers QB coach and current Ohio St. head coach Ryan Day (Kelly is his OC).

I don't trust Jed to make the right choice, we probably end up with P.J Fleck as HC. Just stick with Shanny, take away his personnel powers, let the GM be the GM.

I have to admit that I'm beginning to wonder about Kyle a bit. Mason and Guerendo have both shown that their capable of contributing to the offense, but as soon as McCaffery comes back, they're relegated to spot duty again. What did CMC have on his first game back after having at tendinitis in BOTH his Achilles Heels, something like 50? I mean, there was absolutely no reason for that, and in the game on Sunday Mason once again showed that he could be an explosive alternative in the run game. They're going to lose Mason once his contract comes up because there's little incentive for him to stick around when he has a chance to go someplace that will actually let him play.
I also have to wonder about the wisdom of extending Aiyuk the way they did. Don't get me wrong, I like Aiyuk, but I don't really see him as a $28 million a year receiver, or whatever it is he's getting. I think they could have traded him and given his snaps to Jennings, whose proved he can get the job done when given a chance, maybe not to the level that Aiyuk can in certain circumstances, but with Brock's payday looming over the franchise you'd think they would realize they need to start saving their money. I actually like what Deebo brings to the offense more than Aiyuk, but it sure seems like his style of play is beginning to limit his effectiveness and availability
