Has any reporter even asked KS/JL WHY Mason hasn't been given more carries?
Also, many - myself included, place a lot of blame on the weak OLine.
Ask KS/JL why they haven't been aggressive in the draft and FA to improve it.
Hold their feet to the fire. Keep asking until they wake up.

This is not the game to ask that.
CMC ran it 11 times.
Mason ran it 3 times.
That's a fair split given everything else CMC provides in the passing game. The blocking is the bigger issue.
What they SHOULD ask Kyle is how the heck Jake Brendel is still starting. I can't imagine they're looking at the tape and seeing Brendel absolutely give up that booty on the regular and think he's getting it done.

The problem is pretty clear. Teams that win it all in the NFL remain relatively healthy through a season, and particularly the playoffs. Also, not only are we heavily injured, but those injuries are also to our best players. AND because we spent a ton of money on those older vets, we don't have a lot of money left under the cap to maintain depth. We are very thin all over the roster.
That's it in a nutshell.
New England constantly reloaded the team except for Brady and His TE the great Gronk. Serviceable players came in and became stars on that roster.
Kansas City Chiefs let Tyreek walk. They have let RBs and other good offensive players go and built through the draft.
Our drafts have been average, and the Trey Lance deal hurt us in ways we don't know, but we probably tried to extend a few too many veterans hoping to strike within a SB window. That window started before the first time we lost to KC. We got lucky to draft high after an injury-riddled season in the middle there.
I think getting a few key pieces back could help (Dre's a HUGE part of that), however I'm not sure they're healthy enough to play, and may need to sit longer to ensure we don't lose them longer

as for cap, there's a lot of space.. but we're stuck with another QB issue and extension issue

Let's be real Mason really only got 1 carry. The other two came in garbage time with a minute left.

Mason has practically been benched for CMC.
who do we blame for that ? The oline ? The oline that made Mason one of the leading RBs in the first half of the season, now became automatically the worst over the past month ?
Not Kyle's fault ?
typical. you post without detail.
Mason was bad in the Red Zone. the film has shown this. and you need to play CMC to get him back in game shape.
What does Mason being had in the red zone have anything to do with not playing him during the course of the game ? Especially when he has excelled at almost every opportunity he's been given since CMC came back.
Every NFL pundit is calling Kyle out on this. Hell the broadcasters call him out on it during the game.
only his fans find ways to spin it….like you just did.
