I just saw Harbaugh call a fake punt on his own half while winning a football game.
I think Kyle is the most conservative (at least as far as in-game decisions) good coach left in the NFL at this point.

you Shanna-fans……..are very funny, and in the minority now.
Your boy is being seen for the choke he's always been.
Lol you mad!!!
Seriously though, I blame Shanahan for a lot of things. But I won't blame him for the obvious player mistakes, no HC is perfect and every player makes mistakes. But your haterade that you drink everyday isn't healthy.

You DO NOT fire Kyle unless there is an abundantly clear choice better than him available, or he loses the trust of the locker room over the course of multiple seasons or something. As long as he wants to be there, he's our guy unless one of the other things happens.
On the other hand, we've been gutted as far as coaching staff has been concerned. We need a OC, DC, and ST coach that's gonna stick around and doesn't take the first HC job they're offered. We need to re-tool, but I trust Lynch and Kyle and you're stupid not to unless you've only been a fan since last year. It's football, it's hard to win and injuries happen. We're gonna be okay. Maybe not this year, but we'll be fine.

Larry agrees that Kyle looks tired. If jed and/or Lynch goes to Kyle and tells him we are going to take away some of your responsibility so you can concentrate on coaching more he thinks Kyle might resign. I don't think there is even a 1% chance Kyle gets fired but I definitely could see Kyle getting angry that he was being relieved of some of his responsibility and resigning.
They should trade him if they think this will happen. Trading him for some picks is better than him just walking away. I'm all for watching Kyle pack his bags and go but at least get something for him if everyone thinks he is so valuable.

I believe Kyle's problem is control and ego so if the above is true he will not win it all until his third HC gig. Andy did it on his 2nd try and if someone gives Shanahan the type of control he has now it will fail again.
If he would just focus on his game plan and work with his coordinators and passing/run game assistants, he would probably be more successful going forward. He has too much on his plate and only hurting the team. It just caught up to him with all of the injuries where he could not mask it.

It's about time they had that conversation about relinquishing his roles.
Unfortunately for Kyle his arrogance is going to get the best of him.

Seattle's punter was injured, so Seattle said f**k it and went for it almost every drive on 4th down. Our kicker gets injured, Kyle trots out Wish to kick f**king FGs which have a 90% chance of missing.
conservative is an understatement….

Yep said it last week except added my personal twist. The only way Kyle leaves (because Jed is still raking in revenue from the fans that support a mediocre product) is not be a firing, at least not yet. But rather by Kyle resigning. Now it may be due to him going on a serious bender then realizing he's had enough and calling it quits, OR more realistically as Kreuger states you force him to relinquish power which obviously he won't do because he's that arrogant. So he quits.
Got my fingers crossed 🤞

Kyle doesn't Have any responsibilities other than coaching. According to the team, John Lynch has final control over the 90, meaning he acquires the players, whether by draft, free agency, or trade. Kyle makes the cut downs to the 53. They are supposed to consult with each other. And of course, Kyle has control over his coaching staff. Now I understand he's tried to influence John on draft picks in the past, but I wish he wouldn't because I don't think he's got that talent, and that's not his responsibility.
What would you take away from him?

Kyle is the first Niners HC in 30 years to get the team to two Super Bowls. Yeah, I get it, we lost. But those who want Kyle fired refuse to acknowledge what he inherited and turned into a juggernaut team when healthy.
This season after a Super Bowl, on a team riddled with injuries and guys shuffling in and out of the lineup, we are having a down year. You could even say Kyle isn't performing his best this year. It would be absolutely asinine to use this one down year as justification whatsoever to fire Kyle. The players still repeatedly say this is a guy they want to play for. He hasn't lost the team whatsoever. They know the deal. They know he can only do so much given the circumstances.
I'll go so far as to say, I bet any if the anti Shanahan people said Kyle should be fired to the face of any current player on the team, I'd 100% expect the player would look at them like they're a total fool..

Your whole argument is based on what the team says he does.
If you look at actions and not empty words, this team is ran by Kyle. To the point of recording every conversation that happens between position and assistant coaches in other rooms. Kyle - not Jed - has hired John. The only reason John Lynch has a GM job is because Kyle wanted him.
"Now I understand he's tried to influence John on draft picks in the past"
You start with a questionable premise and then just distort it further. When Kyle bangs the table for Joe Williams as a hunch even though he wasnt on the draft board, its not just "influence". And yet we never hear of the other way around. Who are the players that Kyle didnt want but John banged the table for ?
What are some instances of someone actually overruling Kyle, that you can find ? Some actual, concrete things ?
Im sorry but this whole Lynch controlling the roster thing is just inability to read between the lines. Its like believing uncle Jun ran the operations when it was Tony all the way. Lynch is a de jure boss, a PR figurehead and a human relations guy.
